Beaver Cleavage was pretty strange. On one hand ya had this incestuous angle where Beaver (the former Headbanger Mosh) had the hots for his ''Mom'' and on the other ya had Chaz out of character supposedly beating Marianna (who played Mrs Cleavage) with the boys in the back turning on him.

I think it's really amazing how in wrestling you can have some wonderfully told stories alongside stuff that is just completely awful or totally bizarre :D

Val Venis was quite embarassing, instant channel changer if one of your parents walked into the room.

Real man's man William Regal,Sexual Chocolate and Shawn 'Meat' Stasiak were quite bad too.

The Oddities must have been an embarrassing group for John Tenta to have been a part of.

PMS/Pretty Mean Sisters my lord how do you explain that to a first time viewer.
Wasn't embarrassing but Dan Severn used to stick out like a sore thumb wrestling in a grey sweatshirt. Also remember Too Much teaming up with D.O.A. which was short lived but they used to come out with them on the back of the bikes on Shotgun or Heat and it was a riot.

Probably a bit pre attitude era but anything Goldust. Great worker in all but try explain it to your mates.

I found Goldust embarrassing at first, but the character has aged very well, and I look back fondly.

Or when they got the guy who influenced that angle John Wayne Bobbitt to show up on Raw.

The Big Show's father's death has to be up there in a so bad it's good way. Big Boss Man especially.

That feud was brilliant. It got Boss Man to a couple of main event matches, that's how good it was. Has no business being in this thread.

    The poem alone is genius.

"If I could have a son,
    As stupid as you,
    I'd wish for cancer,
    So I could die too."

    :D

That kennel from hell match >_>

I'm going with Goldust in his "artist formerly known as Goldust" stage, when he wore stuff like this:
    tafkag_display_image.jpg?1311275622

Creeped the bejesus out of me.

Goldust was amazing. Can't remember exactly when Rico started in WWE but......RICO.

Bit after the attitude era but the homo eroticism of Billy & Chuck was odd.

Also featuring Billy Gunn, when he had Honky Tonk Man as his mentor and was called Rockabilly, Jaysus thats horrendous.

Nearly everything involving the divas were "change the channel in case the parents come in" situations

I was about 12 when Sable would come out, say her catchphrase and then grind.

Awkward yes but embarrassing only sometimes. Like when Mark Henry went on a date with a tranny.

How about a championship belt being defended in a gravy bowl match? Or said championship actually changing hands in an Evening Gown In A Pool match

I'm in two minds about the Hardcore 24/7 rule. On the one hand, it killed any prestige the Hardcore title had. On the other it was bloody entertaining and a lot of fun

Wasn't there a guy once called "Meat"? I think the gimmick was that he lost every match due to being already exhausted from shagging his entourage backstage before the match.

Maybe I just imagined it though. I wasn't really following the wrestling much during this particular period.

His tights design were very NSFW let's put it that way too:

From the amazing Attitude Era podcast:

Paul Ellering's Mr.Dotcom gimmick. He was supposed to be some internet tycoon but his background and how he would talk about it was:

    Internet
    ???
    Money

Even before I had even seen the internet I wasn't buying it at all.
