If I was innocent of a crime I would spend 100 years awaiting trial insead of pleading guilty to avail of a short sentence.

If she went over innocently to Peru why didn't she tell her family of her trip, if she went over under pressure she would have had to go through security at Ibiza, Madrid and Peru airports, at neither would anyone have been able to bring a weapon in passed security to pressure her to proceed with her journey.

The only trump card to show she is a halfwit is that the drugs were packed in food packages which would have been illegal to bring across to Europe and would have been searched whether they contained drugs or not.

Afaik, they should find out this Tuesday whether they'll serve time in their respective countries, after they're late change of verdict, but the authorities arent biting as they want the drug dealer that served them as they knew what these girls were doing & seen it before.
