I don't know how to do tables.
but I know that's a full strength Castres team.
And with Castres beating Northampton last week, winning the French title a few months ago and Leinster missing Cullen, God, Strauss et al, I'd take any win.

If anyone has a serious write up then please update this Mods.
I don't do sexy write ups, but I do get fcuked off when no match thread appears.

Huge 1-8 for Castres, that will be a serious dogfight for the Leinster pack.

For anyone who doesn't follow Top14, Rory Kockott is an outstanding scrum-half and goal kicker. If he isn't called by South Africa he'll be lining out for France in 2014. He's off to Toulon next year.

Remi Tales is a bit of a late developer, he moved to Castres in 2011 after spells at Mont-de-Marsan and La Rochelle. He got his first French cap in the summer at 29 years of age and will be involved in the autumn internationals.

    Here's a few clips!

Forestier would be first choice at LHP and Wannenberg possibly not first choice at 7 (6).

    Not sure much beyond that.

Looking forward to today's match, I hope SOB, Toner and Cronin keep up last weeks form as this will bode well for both Leinster and Ireland.

I'm also excited to see Moore starting his first HC game and I hope he puts in another good performance.

    Very nervous about this game.

    Missing:
    BOD
    Cullen
    Strauss
    Jennings
    Ross

Cannot be overstated. Thank god Castres have a poor away record! Leinster to win.

Moore & Macken starting a home HEC game is certainly exciting. Really hope Macken comes on after a solid if unspectacular performance last week.

Think about the opposition looking down the teamsheet and seeing Kearney, Cian Healy, O'Brien, Heaslip, D'Arcy, Luke Fitzgerald.. and that's just the Lions.

It's weaker without BOD/Sexton/Nacewa certainly, but there is still a load of quality and experience in there. If we were going away to a team with that quality we wouldn't fancy our chances, sometimes you need to remember how much talent is still in the squad after the summer exodus/current injuries.

Wow, this thread is really quiet. Everyone must be at the match.

    Leinster 3-0 after 3 mins.

    So far I'm satisfied.

Madigan will find it difficult to get a hold on the 10 jersey. Gopperth doesn't do much wrong and has a good running game of his own.

    Moore for Ireland!

Good first scrum from the lads!

    3/3 from Jimmy so far.

So when can we expect to be able to clone Horgan and have him be a commentator on everything?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,625 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Greg garner is being so harsh on throws.

jaysus Mackan keep two hands on that ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,625 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Now.. Now.. When kockott first touched the ball there was no ruck, but a ruck did form..

Little bit confused by that one. Didn't kockett form the ruck and thus put himself offside? Happy to be corrected.

Don't think so, didn't see any defensive player bound. Smart from Kockott either way

    2 early changes for castres.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Casters looking like they are happy to keep it scrappy, think Macken has been decent so far.

poor from Leinster there, too easy

B*llox. Leinster scrum got the shove but Castres get in for the try down the blind side.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 108 ✭✭oneshot0kill

    9-7 to Leinster
