I wasnt sure where to put this thread but eventually thought this might be the best place.

So all my steam games are not listed in steam anymore apart from one which is the only one i installed to C drive ie same as operating system which is on an SSD.
The rest were installed to D or E drive, one is an SSD the other is HDD.
When i navigate to the steam library folders in each drive all games are listed there and taking up space yet when i click on their .exe i get one of a number if messages , either a prompt to install and download, a message to launch via steam client, or error message that cannot be launched.

Any ideas guys?Id hate to hate to redownlaod everything again, I never had this issue before and im using steam many years.
Could it be a firewall issue? im using an eircom D1000 modem.

Ive rebooted the pc,steam and the modem a few times now and still the same.
Ive also checked the usual stuff like games filtered in steam, just to add when i click to show all games they are all there [ready to be downloaded]so its not as if valve removed them or anything.

I had this problem when I added a new SSD and split my steam games across 2 drives. Steam is only seeing the games installed on the same drive as the client.

There is an option in the Steam client where you will be simply able to add the D and E drive by checking them on a list, then Steam will see all your games and they will all be able to play. Im not at my gaming pc now but If I can find the setting you need I'll let you know.

Yes i just came back to reply with exactly that and you beat me to it.
    Thanks all the same.

settings/downloads/STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS/ the click ADD LIBRARY FOLDER
I simply pointed to where my existing folders are and it instantly listed the installed games.

Seems like a steam hiccup, no harm done but thought id update incase other fell across this issue.
