    hi guys,
just wondering what you guys thought of this as a business idea, i have around 100 acres was thinking about putting a mobile home on the site of where there is an old stone cottage (which has fallen down) getting electric and water hooked up and renting it out with about 5 acres to some wannabe small holders, i was looking on greenshifters.co.uk and notice alot of the english are willing to pay decent money, do you think this is a bad idea and is it worth my while doing it

There are planning issues regarding a "permanent" mobile home. Most small holders would find 100 acres to much. Many don't come from farming backgrounds and are looking for self sufficiency type setups. Would you not just lease the land for agriculture? And avoid the whole sitting tenant issue!
