Only ever once nce cheated on a girl

We were together for what seemed a lifetime but was only one summer and she was my soul mate. I loved that girl, we used to take long walks in the park, picnics in the sun, days at the beach and she had a smile that would stop the stars in their tracks and a laugh that would make even the most cold hearted person smile. Cheated on her with a girl from another estate who i didn't even like.

After that she wouldn't come to the playground anymore:D

No, and surprisingly there were opportunities to do so. It's like being dragged through a forest of ugly trees is completely overshadowed if you're in a relationship.

It's because there's a stench of desperation off most single people. The easy, nonchalant confidence of someone in a relationship seems to be an irresistible draw to some.

I have cheated on the same women twice, I am ashamed of my self for doing it, I never cheated on her in 5 years never even looked at another women but she became depressed and we didn't communicate any more and been stupid I felt alone and miss able about it I really wish I could turn back time and not do it, that was along time ago and now I learned my lesson, And I beg any body before they do try and work it out with you partner before you lose everything good in your life, then I got married to a my x and ended up even worse off, lesson learned big time

I've never cheated and never will.

Of course I do use the 'Two County Rule', which basically means it doesn't count as cheating as long as you are at separated from your partner by at least two counties when the cheating occurs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,501 ✭✭✭FullblownRose

No. I don't see the appeal. I have noticed some people seem to do so wih people who look just like their spouse, though.

It is shallow to say but I find it surprising when people cheat with less good looking people.

    Serious answer.
Iv'e never cheated and would like to think I never would. I just think it's a scummy thing to do. However, Iv'e never been in the position to cheat. Nobody really knows what you'll do when you've had a bit too much to drink and some young one throws herself at you.

    AH answer.
All the time. could never get through GTAIII without it, especially the tank one!

She fell and landed on my penis with her vagina so it wasn't technically cheating.

I was going out with a lass a few years ago. Really liked her. But ended up riding the hole off some girl I met in Coppers one night. Felt fierce guilty for a few weeks. Then I found out that she was playing away as well and squattin on a cock that wasn't mine.

    Karma I suppose.

Nope. Just break up with your partner if you feel like cheating.

But then you wouldn't be cheating...?

Once while in a relationship many many many moons ago. In fairness it was with a model and my gf at the time resembled Shrek (well she does now) so it was justified. Haven't done it since.

How is it justified? Someone being more attractive than your partner isn't justification.

Never cheated on anyone. I don't see why I would. If I want to fcuk other people, I'd dump the person I'm with. Been cheated on 4 times though. :o

I was awful for cheating when I was younger , probably not one girl did I go out with that I didn't end up cheating on, I was actually beginning to think there was something wrong with me , lack of empity for other people or something , never really cared when they got upset, dumped anything! I just moved on to someone else and continued the trend , jesus I even ended up not only cheating but going out with 2 people at the same time on 2 seperate occasions.

But I was young and didn't care tbh plenty of time to ponder that later in life, my actions did result in a hurley to the balls once when one girl found out about the other and me affectionetly being known as '**** face' and 'asswipe' amonst others for a number of years , even people who I never met who knew 'of' me would automatically think I was an absolute wanker...even more strange some girls found this a turn on??

Then I met my partner and we've been together 10 years , I cheated on her once 10 years ago , I actually told her to her face and she slapped the **** outta me but gave me another chance and that was it I never did it again, I wouldn't even think about it now I guess she was the first one I ever cared about and actually liked/loved.

Once when I was 22. Had been seeing a girl for 6months or so. Scored with a girl i sort if knew on a nights out. Was really hammered when it happened and woke up with extreme guilt next morning.

Karma caught up because two months later she kissed some lad in a club. I dumped her. Great thing is I never told her I cheated on her two months earlier.

I was some dick in my early 20's=)

Going beyond the insulting nature of the whole thing, what I can't figure is why someone would choose to go out with "shrek" in the first place. Like deliberately ordering food you don't like in a restaurant and then complaining to the chef. Maybe this happens to people with zero options or something?

Nope never cheated. Have been cheated on though. A couple of times. Then again looking back what the hell was I doing with those who did. Needy, self centered neurotics. The cheating was but an end symptom.

Though I've never cheated on someone, I have been the "other man" a few times. Sometimes I knew I was, mostly I didn't. In the majority of cases they were the type of people who have to be in a relationship, can't be on their own for any length of time, so rather than be single, will stay in a stale relationship with one eye open for the next victim boyfriend to come along. Test the newbie for a time while keeping the original partner in the frame just in case the newbie doesn't work out. I think the scientific term for them is Tossers.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.

I don't now, ether. I know girls who are unconventionally pretty or cute or have ecellent, lovely personalities and I see their partners adore them, and I think that's how it should be. It's lovely to see. The wrong partner might ust dismiss them as Shrek, though.

I think I might be becoming the other woman to someone. I have been cheated on and I only now thanks to the internet. In the initial stages my partner an his female friend got this weird respect for me thing out of the way. I will never forget reading it. She said '' FBR (or my name) is a knockout@@ he said ''yes and she's very funny@@.

And that was that. I suppose it would have hurt a damn sight more if I had found out he had refered to me as Shrek, though.

I think dump them and let them hurt from that rather than decieving them and wasting their life on an illusion of love. Better in the long run.

I cheat on my diet regularly. On my girlfriend? No I could never do that to her. Lust doesn't come close to love.
I guess at the start of a relationship it could be a real possibility or temptation but not now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,568 ✭✭✭candy-gal1

Never have, and I can safely say I never will - one of the few things I can be 100% sure of in life :P, I just dont see the point tbh!

I mean if you soberly cheat then obviously your relationship doesnt mean that much to you, so why are you in it?!

If you drunkenly cheat then you mustnt have been that drunk if you still remember cheating so you obviously knew even a teeny bit what you were doing

Thats just imho anyway, each to their own as long as it doesnt badly affect me, I just couldnt happily or even normally live with the guilt of it, could never keep it secret!
