Take with a grain of salt but its been reported possible reboot for syphon filter for the ps4 and the last guardian game brought up again.

if that's accurate win for Sony (I have an xbox). Sony looks to have more to show here from the looks of these. Still a tonne of salt as OP says.

Though as soon as they mentioned games with gold on the MS having 1 retail game from a choice of 2 a month starting immediately I smelled a rat NO WAY will that happen as much I would love it to , it's just not believable unless MS went to specsaver and became less short-sighted and greedy, also there really are not that many game to give away but if it was true would it sell systems ???? hmmmmmm

Edit: Unless they upped the price of xbox gold like a gold + if you will, i'd cough up extra for a few games for sure.

I loved Syphon Filter on the PS1. I would welcome a new one on the PS4.

I couldn't agree more. I really don't see what all the fuss is with that game. Crappy six-axis sh1te with a shallow combat system, that's all I got from it.

Each to its own. I really dont see what the fuss is about Halo or Mario games. Crappy rehashed crap again, again and again, thats all I see in it.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Hack 'n' Slash genre. It's one of my favourite types of game. The likes of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising (only played the demo, bow WOW!) are my bread and butter. Heavenly Sword just couldn't compare.

Oh lord, that is one terrible screen but I will also say I bloody loved Syphon Filter.

There has been too much rumours over the years for me to get my hopes up... actually I must buy the psp game for my vita, heard it's very good.

I've seen both lists and don't believe either fully, Sony's one in particular is way too good to be through and it doesn't include anything regarding vita games, ps3 games or PS Now.

Also this should probably be merged with the E3 thread.

More and More tempted to buy a PS4....if that leak is real Sony is looking like they will wipe the floor with this generation and become the top gun again.

Also....please release a new GPolice! I feckin' loved that game on the PS1!

I'm a bit disappointed with DICE and EA for BF4, but I'd like to see them move to a 3 team development like COD. With a numbered modern day/near future BF game, a period BF game (1944...), and Battlefront.

Going with the rumour, I think MS have more than that considering that they're under performing right now. Meaning that the sales of the PS4 (and ONE) have shown that the market is there and that there's no reason that MS can't take a bigger piece of it.

If MS lay off the TV, Kinect 2 and the mysterious "power of the cloud" a bit, perhaps take a look at their paywall options while sticking with the games they have they could turn things around there imo. All they have to do really is announce a €400 Kinect free SKU with Halo 5 included and they win E3.

How is throwing in a free game and price matching the PS4 by taking out a key piece of the product going to win them E3? If you take out the kinect doesn't that mean voice commands cannot be used, or can you still do basic commands via a headset like the PS4?

They f*cked up from the very start with the DRM debacle. I don't expect them to turn anything around.

Of the 80-100m or more out there that could buy it most don't know about it and its not going to effect the ONE in the long run.

The price and the normal new console stuff is the only thing holding it back.

My light hearted jokes are lost in this thread it seems.

Still I'd love to see if that would actually make any difference seeing as the UK price drop and free Titanfall didn't help them over take PS4 sales for that month alone. Then again Titanfall has limited appeal in being an online only shooter.

The user interface is a massive problem though. Its awful. Everything is so slow and laggy on it. It takes like 10 seconds to load your friends list. The ps4 interface is actually a lot better. It might not be as pretty, but its way more functional.

Which you would only become an issue from actual playtime after you've bought it.
