Hi, i can't seem to find a site that will tell me exactly how much i will pay if it's a Sterling or Dollar purchase. Always seems to cost more than i'm expecting. Anyone got a handy site? If not i might have to build one :)

Exchange rates are done by the credit card company, also will change quite often, not sure if they publish those rates.

They vary regularly and normally you pay commision/charges as well so it is not very easy to find out exactly it will cost.

for a credit card add approx 1.5-2% to the rate given on xe.com and you'd be there or there abouts.

    sterling is under "pound sterling"

divide the amount by the rate shown to get your actaul cost in euro. £100/ .7928 = 126.13

This will be very close to the actual amount you will pay.

Rates change constantly, so check at time of purchase.

Bear in mind that it is the Sell Rate that they use. Plus some cards add a commission on top of this as well.
