Had a strange dream last night, can anyone make any sense out of it please ?

Hi, I had a dream last night, if I explain it in as much detail as I can I wonder if anyone could make sense of it.

All I remember is, I was in my bedroom with a girl that I fancy & we decided to go Wrights night club, we were on a dublin bus I'd imagine going to Wrights, for some reason I only had €20 on me, also while talking to the girl that I like I got wrights & the palace nightclub which is in town mixed up & she laughed.

We were holding hands, waiting at traffic lights, just ahead on the left of us was a church, and on the right was a line of a few small local shops.
All of a sudden as we were crossing the road the whole dream just froze, like time stood still, still in my dream I was to trying unfreeze it as if I was on my laptop & went to task manger & then clicked end task as if it was like I was watching a film & windows media player just froze, instead of being on a date with a girl that I like.

A few seconds later I woke up

What could that dream possibly mean ?

This isn't a personal issue as such, so if a more appropriate place is available for this thread mods can move it

Dreams generally don't mean anything at all.

There is a sleep and dreams sub forum under Rec which you might get an interpretation but really most dreams don't mean anything.

Yeah I've heard that before, its just that I've never had a dream like that before as far as from the dreams that I can remember after waking up like.
So I was thinking there might be a reason or something behind me having a dream like that

It means you woke up. When u become aware that you are dreaming and begin trying to manipulate the dream you usually means you have come out of sleep and are just trying to fantasies or force the dream to keep going.

I wasn't aware while in my dream that I was dreaming, I thought it was reality. Also while in my dream I don't think I was manipulating the dream to keep the dream going

Or do you mean I was trying to manipulate the dream while dreaming unknowns to myself so that I wouldn't wake up ?

Yep that. I've found myself doing that a few times. Usually during a good dream that you don't want to end. Unbeknownst to myself that I'm just dozing with my eyes closed. If you've ever had a dream where your just about to kiss someone then you wake up, then you'll know what I mean.

You are lacking in confidence with girls. You are anxious that you do not have enough money and that you are not streetwise/savvy or cool enough. You also need to spend less time on your laptop.
