    legally you have to have a vet present to squeeze a bull calf over six months of age.


    vet may choose to band him or depending on vet can squeeze away 12-14 months as they can administer local anaesethic and anti inflammatories... if very large bull he may "cut him clean"

    Last year I had a bull squeezed by the vet at 6 months months and he said he was too big but then he did squeeze him

    Nowadays the only thing that matters is the 6 mths of age mark. That's what the legislation goes on.

    Pre legislation I remember being under weanlings over 500kgs and probably 600kgs. But them days are gone.
