I was in dealz shop in Galway yesterday and seen this at the counter.

I'm not advocating Dealz, Hector O'hEochagain, 2fm or the charity (Hand-in-hand) ... but its an excellent double cd and it costs

    €1.49 !!!

30 Songs, Track listing is Cypress hill, Stunning, Supergrass, Buzzcocks etc.

    Full track listing available here

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hectors-Mix-Tape-Various-artists/dp/B006709QMA

Dare I mention the "C" word .. but it would make a nice and cheap-ass Christmas gift :-)

Neither Hector nor the charity will be getting anything from this, these are either remainders or second hand 'reconditioned' CDs.

Is €1.49 worth the shame and slagging you'll get from your friends for having a Hector cd in your collection? :D

I was thinking along those lines, some great tunes, would be good for the car, but I'd be absolutely mortified if anyone saw it.

    No dice!

You are probably right about where the proceeds will be going. I assume they are leftovers..and were dumped by the record company to Dealz.

The CD's are packaged up properly and are spotless. A lot of the dealz music cd's have a sticker that says "replay" which means its pre-owned ... but these don't have "Replay" and are brand new.

Buy it, burn it to Itunes or what ever mp3 software you use and then burn it and send it to hell, rename the tracks after copying them.

Bought a CD before in Dealz, skipped on one track...don't know if its indicative of the rest of the CDs in there

Could we just clarify which 'C' word we're talking about cos I know a 'C' word I personally would attach to Hector!!!! (and it's not nice!)

Yup, I saw it in Dealz at Queen's Old Castle! Also saw Mick Flannery's album in there which I thought was a good one!
