My GF loves Yankee candles and I was wondering where to get a good deal on one/some in Cork City.

Anyone know of good places in Cork to pick some up?

What type of scents does she like? What Yankee candles does she already have, it will give a good indication as to the type of scent she likes, sweet, spicy, strong, mild etc.

    I love the following ones,

    Cinnamon Stick
    Sparkling Cinnamon
    Black Coconut
Sun & Sand (not sure if you can get the candles in this scent, I've only seen the car air fresheners)
    Turquoise Sky
    Pink Dragon Fruit
    Honey & Spice
    Clean Cotton
    Honey Blossom
    Black Plum Blossom
    Wild Fig

The Homestore and More in Mahon.

Homestore and More have a few at €16.99 at the moment. If there's a Yankee shop in Cork they have some for a similar price at the moment. Not sure which ones as I only saw the sign as I passed the Yankee shop in Blanch.

Or if you want a Christmas themed one, they'll be arriving and going on special at the end of the month in Homestore and More.

Homestore & More always have certain fragrances going for less than full price. Both they, and Harvey Norman have Christmas sets in, where you can buy a nicely packaged selection of the smaller votive candles, one of those sets with a holder (if there isn't already one in the set) might be nice, as she'd have a selection of several fragrances - just checked & neither site has the full selection online, but I've seen them in both shops recently ;)

Was just going to say was in homestore and more last night in Mahon and they have lots of them. Or there is a yankee candle store up by Smyths Kinsale Road, The doors to the shop is on the Curious wine side

Hickeys have a shop in Ballincollig according to their website if you are near there + there seems to be a special offer on at the moment 18.74 for a large candle - this seems a bit pricey though as I've seen them for 16 in the past in bricks and mortar shops and i dont know how that compares to the otehr stores mentioned. However I used to find their prices close to xmas as amongst the best when I shopped in their stores in Dublin.

Probably best getting a special xmas pack though as they look better as a gift.
