2 or 3 week trip of America

    I am considering a 2 or 3 week trip of America soon, I have already been to the states hitting dallas , New Orleans, Vegas and Miami. The last trip I had a friend with me but this time ill probably be alone, would like some advice on a route to take

    Have you ever considered the train? There's some incredible routes across the country. My better half is a nervous flyer and her family is in Minnesota while we live in Seattle so we've done it a few times. 2 nights/3 days.

    And the trains are really well run, clean and efficient. A good way of meeting people too because the dining car seating is communal (4 to a table). The only disadvantage is that the smallest cabins are for two people and you really need to get a cabin if you're spending a couple of nights.
