Will my Pension become part of her 'means'?

My partner receives DA, as do I. When my DA stops soon, and my State Contributory Pension starts, there will be small increase in my total income. My question is, will that be considered as an increase in my partner's means, or does my pension not count in calculations? Furthermore, would a small UK pension make a difference to my Irish pension, or her DA?

State Contributory Pension should not effect a DA payment,http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/irish_social_welfare_system/means_test_for_social_welfare_payments/cash_income_not_included_in_the_social_welfare_means_test.html.

Have you been receiving the uk pension up to now?

Thanks for the link, that's a lot of reading. I'm more confused now than at the start, but I think it answers at least my first question. BTW, no...I'm not receiving the UK pension, I'm looking into it but might not even qualify.

If you receive a UK pension it will have to be means tested against DA,pension amount less €60 get 60% of what's left and that will be your means(amount deducted from DA)

AFAIK a pension (not Irish OAP) is assessed euro for euro there are no disregards.
