Mine is, Why do bank/Post Office robber's ''Squeal'' away at high speed drawing attention etc when a ''Hasty Exit'' would suffice ?

Presumably the bank/Post Office will raise the alarm as they leave?
Drawing attention is irrelevant at that stage,unless you're concerned about people noticing and identifying you to the police,but who would finger armed robbers?

I've asked this before and didn't get a satisfactory answer following an experiment I performed in work using a microwave,a wasp,a bluebottle and some jam.

Why does it take 50 seconds to microwave a bluebottle to death while a wasp takes under 5 seconds?

Can anyone explain the disparity in bluebottle and wasp cooking times?

Bluebottles have less water in their bodies? Wasps are pretty squishy.

If I am on an aeroplane that's moving at 500mph say, and I jump up, why do I land back in the same spot rather than a few feet further back down the plane (few feet back = time in the air X aeroplane speed). Like the plane is still moving but why am I? Same applies to a car but it's harder to jump inside a car...

The same way that if you run fast and build up a speed of 500 miles miles an hour and jumped you would move forward at that speed? It's not just the plane aeroplane that's moving forward when you jump, all the passengers are too...

Because an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

The earth is constantly spinning at high speeds (1000 kph) but when we jump we don't move a couple of feet back.

You didn't do anything to introduce an acceleration sideways. So, you will continue to move forward at 500mph because an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. See Newton for further details on this schoolboy physics.

Well I drink Bud alot, not really the other two as I don't like the taste.

For me its that I like the refreshing, light taste. I hate most 'craft' beers as they are just too heavy and it tastes like you are drinking fermented bin juice. I like Blue Moon but after two or so, it feels like my stomach has expanded to the size of a basketball.

Oh don't get me wrong, scarf wearing, man-bagging, skinny jeans fools need to go away.

That said, you go into a bar in belgium/germany/holland/france then there are different beers in every one of them.
But go into a bar in Ireland and its the same 5/6 mass marketed piss-waters in every one of them. Culture here is on volume as opposed to taste.
Nice to see the craft-beer growth here.

Yeah I agree with that alright. More market variety would be great. Although it is getting much better. A great deal of bars today have a decent variety of beers. Maybe not the most obscure draughts but the likes of Erdinger (I wouldn't consider it a mass market piss water) is in most places.

Seemingly it is the other way around. You are not supposed to close the top button as make the jacket hang wrong. You can close either the middle or bottom button.

Does acceleration affect a car crash? Does a car accelerating have more momentum that a car travelling at a set speed? Or at the point of impact of two cars does it only matter what speed they were dong at that point?

In fairness, with a lot of big-name beers and processed food and drink you get a lot of interference that detracts from the taste experience.
Lots of big brands of orange juice are stored in such a way that both the colour and flavour are lost and are added artificially (I know this is true of Tropicana).
Most major breweries add stabilizers that make sure that the taste of every batch is exactly the same. I like the little differences you get in different batches from smaller breweries.
And in general, most processed food is aimed at the mass market and plays it safe, so there's not much interesting going on in terms of taste.

I don't always cook everything from scratch, but I notice a huge difference in taste and general feeling after eating between processed frozen food and something simple I've made myself with mostly fresh ingredients.

Still, at least we have stricter regulations on food production than the United States. I never want to eat something contain wood chip as filler.

We had a boss years back, and he was a very old-school brit (and old in years too .... told great stories about working in India .... very non PC!!) ..... anyway, he told us about the last button of the waistcoat (we would listen to any of his stories, as it meant 10 mins not working!) and it goes back to Edward VII, who didnt like to button the last one (prob because he was very fat), and then the fashion took off. For a while, it was seen as support for the royalty, and anyone who buttoned the last one was anti-royal ....

Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. Momentum is Mass x Velocity. The velocity achieved at the time of impact is set at that moment in time regardless of it having accelerated to that velocity a split second earlier or any time in the past. So the answer is no.

They're at the forefront of marketing, thats it.

I'm not going to dig it up, as i saw a report on it a long while back: The grain used in the mass-marketed beer is of the cheaper, easier to grow variety. Cost per tonne of their grain is much less than the grain chosen by the craft-beer group, so the point of them being "cheap" is entirely valid.

Budweiser and a lot of other crappy brands use rice instead of some of the barley. It should barely even be called beer IMO.

By the way, as much as Belgium has loads of craft breweries, the biggest selling beer there is Jupiler, which is just as bland as any other mass market beer and made by ABInBev.

Why for decades people got by fine on Guinness, Heineken and Smithwicks.

But in the past 3 or 4 years, everyone is insistent that we have to like the smoother flavours of this German full bodied beer or the hoppy overtones of that Czech number.
