Long Term Savings Options for Children

Looking at various long term savings options for children at the moment and was hoping to gain peoples opinions/experience with what you have chosen.

The term will be 10 years+ and ideally i'd like to be able to put money in monthly (€1000+) with an up-front lump sum of about €10,000.

Does any one have any recommendations?

    Thanks

    My recommendation:

    1. Open an account with Degiro

    2. Buy index funds/ETFs that track a large, broad based index such as the EUROSTOXX or the S&P 500, and some government/high grade corporate bond index. Each month, buy one of the three funds and alternate which one every month.

    3. Rebalance annually so that you have 33% of your portfolio in each index.
