Blah! I love my holster! :D *father jack voice*

the whole safariland fetish is only due to the geardo navy seal fanboys :P

more sf units, pmcs, and leos use serpas now due to the simple faster draw, uninterupted.

but meh, its personal choice, you like it, cool, i prefer to spend the extra (um, more than twice the price of the serpa) on stuff like booze... and toys... and yeah ok shoes... *facepalm* every little helps! rofl

Bah, serpa. Half the people I know with a serpa also have no paint on the slide of their sidearm.

    VIVA LA SAFARILAND!

I never even knew the seals, pmc's blah blah... used them. Wasn't the buying point for me. Price was.

Will put up a pic later of what my current kit is :)

That's the way it should be, I hate clean, unscratched, un marked paint, it makes things look tacky. Scratched and paintless pistol slides ftw!

WOW you look shocked to realise theres a camera... afraid of it eating your soul?

OEB: Busted... safarilands also grip the slide in the same manner as any other holster does except the bodiless ispc ones.

you want your gun to remain perfect box condition? Dont use it.

If you want it to stay in your holster, along with the magazine in the gun, buy a decent holster, the solid frame ones are best for that, safariland, fobus, imi, or blackhawk. I just PREFER blackhawk serpas for thier draw design, i find it comfortable and fast.

Excuse me Ma'am but Safarilands have suede lining!
But serious though, holsters are all about personal preference. You have soo many choices in thumb breaks, friction locks..ect And materials from Kydex, Nylon and to Fisher Price serpa plastic:P
Everybody has there likes and dislikes...

Safariland's are plastic too ;) the same plastic as real steel serpas, not the chinese toys ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,291 ✭✭✭✭Gatling

Cant beat the genuine serpa's excellent quality holster system .
had a few cash offers for the one i used for the IAA tent at salute

I've owned two blackhawk Serpas that cracked into pieces , had to saw open the second one because it wouldnt release my pistol. My 6004 has been through hell and back and its sports a few major gouge marks with no damage to the integrity of it.
In my opionion, I'd rather fork out the extra dosh for something that will last through anything I can throw at it.

Personal preference stevie... mine have been bombproof, and its a prefernce on design too. Extra money is.... meaningless, both are made of the same **** in vietnam.

we'd best get back on topic...
