Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I thought the Juke looked awful in ads, but I saw a nice red one in real life the other day and I think it's actually pretty cool looking! :p No idea what the inside is like though.

    Beauty or Beast???????????????????????????

Beauty!!!!!! Fabulous car in so many ways and the greatest laugh to drive this side of a TVR or a Lamborghini.

I've always thought these Hyundai Coupes looked bad......

    120px-Hyundai_Coupe_rear_20071212.jpg

and apart from the E60 I never liked most of what Chris Bangle designed for BMW. Stuff like the bootlids on the E65 and 6 series just looked awful imo especially when you think what could have been.

Then theres this, looks so awkward compared to its predecessor. S Class is no better.

Ireland was just too conservative a market for them.

Not me, I bought one new in 2000. Brilliant car. My brother bought one after he saw mine. Out current S-Max is better all round, but massively more expensive and very conservative looking.

As if designed by Homer Simpson.

Those have Fiats have to be THE worst looking motor ever. I cannot understand who in the factory looked at the concept model and said....molto bello

G'wan ourra that. Thats a class looking yoke. Their solution to overcome the wardrobe style aerodynamics was to stick the engine from the Countach into it.

    Pure genius.

I disagree with all of the above. The Hyundai Coupe is stunning considering how much they cost (also considering its from the asian market, they dont do style), and the CL63 is a savage looking beast of a car. I have lost all respect for you now.
I think you should leave tbh

Disagree on Hyundai Coupe. I think it looks like dying dolphin or something.

I totally agree on CL63 though. Excellent car with excellent design. Wouldn't say so for the previous model.

I am sorry but the X6 is actually quite nice looking, BMW are onto something there and will be copied in time

Remember how all critics at first criticises the rear of the 7 series? Only for many manufacturers to copy it few years later and the new "ass" model turning out a best-seller?

And of course there is that nice X6 posted in parallel "look what i seen today" thread

Wow, that is finding a new level of awfulness!
This is simply in another league, it's the Pavarotti of being awful.

One persons opinion may not suit another. The Multipla as ugly as it may be to one could be disliked by the masses due to Top Gears criticism of its looks. There is no confusion just conflicting opinions and personal taste. :)

    Awful looking yoke.

I say when Toyota Nissan created this car design it was the day that Japan first discovered the drug 'crack cocaine'.

Sorry about that bit of a brain fart there, wasn't feeling to well last night!

Mercedes A Classes were pretty popular for a while, then they all suddenly and thankfully disappeared. Whenever I saw one, I would get instantly angry at humanity for allowing such a monstrosity to exist. Where they went, I neither care nor want to know.

Especially the A2. That car was ahead of it's time IMO and vastly underrated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,804 ✭✭✭lintdrummer

I'd agree with the A2. People seem to forget that we're just talking about looks here and that was a vile car. My economics teacher had one when I was in school. We took the piss out of her no end.
The chrysler I like. There's no difference in looks between the diesel and v8 is there?
