Would it not run until Sept 2021 as the first payment was only for the last 3 months of 2015?

According to the T&C's of Tranche 1 the scheme runs from 2014-2020.

What's the story with all the commonage lands getting fenced off.
Everywhere I look in mayo, commonage is getting fenced off where there were never fenced before.
It's certainly a good idea to prevent animals roaming onto the roads but it must be costing a fortune for little gain as far as a farmer would see it.
    Is it a glas requirement?
    Is it grant aided?

Where is the ‘amounts due’ section on agfood?...

Where is the ‘amounts due’ section on agfood?...

Go to financial discipline & where you see all your payments in last year, there’s a tab at top saying payments due

its in financial self services in agfood

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,264 ✭✭✭✭Base price

Where is the ‘amounts due’ section on agfood?...
Click on the tab - Financial Self-Service.
It should show eight tabs at the top of your screen. From left to right - amounts owed/amounts due/payed invoices & remittances/bank payments/view/print statements/ switch account/ help/ exit.
    Click the amounts due tab.
If you can't see/view the details I would suggest that you contact your Agricultural/GLAS facilitator.

Missing two bird boxes as they fell off the trees. One was also in wrong parcel.
Hadn’t got heaps of sand for bees strimmed or fenced
Wasn’t happy with the take of my catch crop but I had it done
He took his job very seriously
    Anyone else regret joining Glas?

I was onto the DAFM today re non payment of Glas 1 advance payment and was told that the next payment run will be processed late next week. They hope to have all the advanced payments done before end of Nov. I was assured that all my glas requirements were compete but for some unexpained random reason I wasn't part of the first batch of payments.

If we’ve all the requirements met and no changes from last year, then why cannt they pay everyone the same day ? They can well do it for the single farm payment , which pays a lot more farmers then the glas scheme. I’m in glas one as well, but no sign of my money either.

In fairness it doesn't sound like you killed yourself for the 5k. Highlights really many of the schemes failings:(. We badly need "results based" measures instead of nonsense like hanging ornaments from trees etc.

Audit done on GLAS scheme for corncrake. 10% of farmers had corncrake. Maximum was one corncrake present on any of farms.Audit showed poor early cover habitat for corncrake in all farms, including farms that held corncrake.

Compare that to one farm in NPWS that held 6 corncrake this year,

My advisor called to farm when we signed up. I showed him the field for the bird boxes with loads of trees. When I get the plan he had bird boxes in another parcel with very few trees, just enough trees to be honest. If that was not bad enough, 2 trees in this parcel fell during Ophelia, so I put the boxes in an adjacent parcel in next field. Better to have them up than not.
