Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As we spoke about this before Jp .

I think u could be onto a winner with there amount of guests ..

not to sound too pessimistic but city west is crying out for business this year and while occupancy levels for the hospitality sector are down across the board they seem to have taken a particular bad hit this year.

I'm talking about the list of questions every tournament organiser is supposed to answer in order to START the thread. There is a sticky about this and its been the rules since almost the start of the forum.

It's a 4500sq foot function room which has been turned into casino.

There will be soft drinks available and i believe a glass of wine or two if your playing the gaming tables but not the poker.

You will be allowed to buy a drink in the hotel and bring it into the casino (as long as you know what your limit is).

The 69 from town and the 311 from Tallaght both drop you just at the entrance to City West Hotel.

Luas is supposed to be in City West from next year..... So hopefully 2020

Yep this is something that we discussed.

I personally wanted to open at the weekend at 1st instead of trying 7 new games all at once. But was told that we have to be open for the hotel guests, most of who will be there on work conferences and will want the game to be finished at a reasonable hour.

My main goal for the 1st month is to get a good Friday and Sunday game going and work from there. If i find that the weekly games have more Dublin locals playing who want a better structured game (more chips) I will accommodate.

Ultimately it is about what is best for the clientele.
