Read this interesting article in the Inserbia News website. A different view from the norm on NATOs activities that I concur with.

"Czech Republic – Former Czech military doctor, a veteran from the missions in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Afghanistan, asked Czech Minister of Defense to take his NATO medals because he does not agree with the policy of the West towards Russia and because he is ashamed of the Western military alliance as a “criminal organization”.The doctor asked that four NATO medals are taken from him, the ones he was awarded for the service in foreign peacekeeping missions, because, as he said, he is ashamed he served to “a criminal organization” that led by the United States “imposes its interests to the world and causes armed conflicts”.

Obrtel believes that the United States, “because of incoming economic collapse”, is trying to provoke a world war with Russia and to abuse the territory of Europe for it.

He praised presidents of Russia and Czech Republic, Vladimir Putin and Milos Zeman, who, according to him, call things by their proper name and reminds Czechs that Russia is part of Europe.“In the new Cold War I stand on the side of the President Putin,” wrote Obrtel.

Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic replied to Obrtel that there is no law under which it can take away his medals"

No, not a world war, just creating destabilisation to keep their arms industries busy.

Ok, so the USA is creating an unstable situation because they invaded the Crimea, shot down a commercial aircraft and allowed members of its armed forces to enter Eastern Ukraine out of uniform and posing as rebels, don't allow free media expression, beat up BBC news crews who ask how their soldiers die in mysterious circumstances. Oh wait isn't that the other guys or am I confused?

By the way the Czech president is a drunken laughing stock in his own country who is increasing becoming the focal point of serious political demonstrations for overstepping his constitutional role which is similiar to our own presidents. His views are seriously at odds with the Czech Government and the Czech people.

NATO installation of a nazi government in a democratic country kicked off the whole mess. The people of Crimea voted to be part of Russia rather than be citizens of a faschist run hellhole. Blaming any country or group for downing the aircraft without a shred of evidence is the preserve of NATO and its US puppet master. The only country looking for the results of the investigations into the air disaster to be made public is Russia, the results are deemed classified.

It's perfectly legitimate to be critical of US policy towards Russia. I've little doubt the US made a play for Russian natural resources during the disastrous Yeltsin regime. Russia was also humiliated over former satellites joining NATO. I'm of the opinion that all those countries are entitled as sovereign states to do as they wish, including Ukraine. But as the West has taken liberties post 1989, especially through the oligarchs, nobody should be surprised with the hardened attitude under Putin.

A lot of the strident talk over Ukraine is not in the interests of the EU, or others in the region. Russia has legitimate concerns, and the fact that these concerns have been brushed aside in the last 25 years has upped the ante, and most recently led to the Crimea standoff, and unrest in eastern Ukrainian regions.

Of course the story doesn't end there. At some point, Belarus is going to come into play. In the final analysis borders in the region may have to be redrawn. The interests of countries like Ukraine and Belarus are ultimately paramount. But IMO it's not acceptable for the US to use those nations as pawns to proscute its own interests, especially where this causes unnecessary loss of life and prejudices EU interests.

I wouldn't go as far as the Czech doctor, but people should be cynical about the considerable neocon tint on US policy in the region.

No biased agenda here at all.
All rational, sensible & above all, factual.

    Move along!
