Werewolf: Friends

 
It is known as the city that never sleeps but in New York City memories from the past are causing sleepless nights for one group of friends. In order to overcome the demons of their past they have decided to get together, and with the help of their fellow New Yorkers, banish their demons forever.

The Friends:


Phoebe Buffay (Aura Reader) – Phoebe has the ability to read people aura’s and see their true colours. She can chose one player each night phase to read. 

Chandler Bing (Vigilante) – Always a sharper shoot with his witty one liners can Chandler be just as sharp with a bullet? He will have 3 shots to be used at any time he wishes.

Monica Geller (Fun Seeker) – A bit uptight Monica needs a bit of fun in her life. She will have one chance each day to find Fun Time Bobby, if she is successful she will receive a prize for the village. Bobby will also join her in the back room. 

Ross Geller (Jail Keeper) – There is nothing Ross loves better than entertaining people with stories about dinosaurs. Each night he will invite one player to a lecture at the paleontology museum. Should that player have any night phase actions they will not be able to escape the museum to use them.

Joey Tribbiani (Hero) – A lovable little rogue but can Joey be the hero New York needs? Each night he will pick one player to protect. However he should choose wisely as should that player be targeted and the protection is successful both he and the attacker will die.

Rachel Green (Good Shaman) – A lady who loves to shop. Rachel will shop each day and buy a present to give to one of the players (max of three).

Friendship is important and as such each of our heroes will have an important choice to make based on first impressions

The Demons:
 


Barry Farber (Alpha Wolf) – Each day Barry has an opportunity to find Mindy. Should he be successful and find Mindy, he will convert Mindy to be his bride. Mindy has a gun and Barry has a shiny bullet.

Eddie Cahill (Evil Shaman) – Having never recovered from losing his roomie - each day Eddie will attempt to get revenge by causing chaos in the lives of the friends. 

Ursula Buffay (The Imposter) – Ursula will find out the first time a wolf has their aura read by Phoebe.
 

 

Janice Hosenstein – Serial Killer – Oh My God!! Each night Janice will chose one player who will succumb to the terrifying noise that is her laugh.

The first scheduled action will be munch which will take place at on Monday at 10am followed by lynch at 9pm. Upon death, a player's role will be announced on thread by the mods.


Game Rules:

1. When you die, you are out of the game. Please don’t continue to post. Dead people can’t talk! We will grant you deadroom access asap.

2. We encourage you all to get as involved as you can and contribute to the game. Try to get a vote in as a minimum each day. 2 missed votes may mean a player could be modkilled or replaced by a sub, depending on mod discretion. We will judge each missed vote on a case by case basis. Also, please try to make a minimum of 5 posts per day.

3. No cheating. This is game that requires honesty and relies heavily on the players having integrity. So, as well as any other cheating, no PMing other players and no chatting about the game anywhere off thread while the game is going on. We have provide a deadroom and this is the ONLY safe place that any discussions may take place about this game while it is live. See rule 5 on who to ask for access.

4. All players will receive PMs throughout the game, please no copying and pasting of PMs that we send you, nor will you be allowed copy and paste or refer to anything from any backroom you may or may not have. If you want to discuss the content of a PM with the village, please discuss it with the Mods first before discussing any PMs on thread.

5. Mods for this game are Kitten_k, Duffman13 and Baggly. All questions can be sent directly to the mods and we will try answer you as soon as we can. Please be patient. Mods may have secrets not revealed in this OP.

6. Policy on Abuse: Boards has a no-abuse rule in place that is in effect in this forum as well. By all means, call people on dodgy behavior, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum mod (Sullivlo/Baggly/quickbeam) or use the report button on the post in question. Forum mods will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.

7. This is an Anon game. Every player will have a WW alias to play under and this will be PMed to you along with any in game role you have been given. No posting in your regular Boards account...i.e. no posting as Baggly, post as Pter WW. We will be suspending WW subforum access for non-anon accounts, for the duration of the game, with the exception of Sullivlo & Quickbeam.

8. NO EDITING POSTS, Sullivlo & Quickbeam. You won’t be able to in your anon account, but if you slip and post in your regular Boards account, don’t delete or edit it. Log back into your anon account, quote the slipped post(s) and announce to the thread that you slipped and that the posts should be attributed to your given anon account, this should be done as soon as possible after the slip. Failure to do so within a timely manner, or repeated slips may be punished.

9. No sharing your lynch passwords or COP accounts with anyone. All actions must be done by you and only you. Use the lynch password given to you. Incorrect passwords may invalidate your vote.

10. Votes will be published as soon as possible after the lynch announcement. In the event of a tied lynch vote, the last vote cast between the two tied players will decide the lynch. I.e. Duffy WW and Joey WW get 4 votes each but Joey WW received the last vote, then Joey WW will be lynched.

13. Win Conditions: The village wins when all non-villagers are dead. The wolves win when the sk is dead and they have reached parity with the remaining villagers. The sk wins when the wolves are dead and the sk reaches parity with the village, or if the villagers are dead and the sk reaches parity with the wolves.
