need weed id & how to get rid of it

    Roundup might work. Dont know what it is. You local garden centre will advise better.

    Its Japanese knotweed or Polygonum japonicum.
    A weed that is very resistant to herbicides.
    Roundup will work but it must be applied every year for 3 years.
    Cut the weed to the ground in winter, spray the regrowth in may and Auguust.
    If you pull the weed, you will just leave root tips in the ground which will grow back as strong as ever.

    Ya I have tried to pull it and tramp it and dig it phew:mad: none worked don't fancy using round up but might have to... Where the hell did it come from its not growing anywhere else around??????

    I wish flowers and shrubs would grow as high, healthy and vigorous as it:mad: :mad: :mad:
