The original Octavia. Combi version must be scarce nowadays?

If you really want one you can go and get them in Czech.. there is relatively plenty of them because people are not that stupid to crush them..

this one is for 600 euro

Saw them before and took some pictures today. The Great Island, Cork.

After the bridge go left towards Cobh and you will see them on right side after mile or two.

Two Mercs, that is obvious but what types? anyone... ?

They look like 1950s Mercedes 170Ds?

Certainly a 170, shame to see them out in all weathers.

The one with external boot hinges is pre 1952.

I drove by those two Mercs over the weekend as well, was gonna post here about them but had no camera so didn't bother. They look a lot more rotten close up :(

What an odd thing, but the Jag that replaced the above (XJ 140) in 1995, through to 1997 was identified as an X300. That would be a cool reg to have in that case. Pity it's on the wrong car!

Hello OKI, glad to help .
it is on the road from Collon to Mullary(south of Dunleer) in County Louth. . That road crosses the M1 and the car is closer to the M1 than to Collon. You cannot access that road from the M1, you will need to get on the old road from Momasterboice to Dunleer and take the road opposite the Mullary Inn.
it was on the edge of the road , cannot miss it.

    Regards, Rugbyman

If you come up in your TR3 with its ZY reg, have lunch in Donegans , your car and reg are sure to be a hit.

Such a shame, I saw an early type in the Deutsche Museum during my last visit to Munich, I am a big fan of Mercedes cars.
