Certainly enough snow in South-East Wicklow (Dunlavin) to make a sizeable snowman.

Again the south of Dublin has turned dark. The north is looking very bright indeed. What's going on?

They're mostly just localised showers..so it's pot luck where they hit. Where they do hit, it may be very fleeting.

Hopefully we start getting some of that more 'widespread' snow met eireann was talking about for later today/tonight.

Im so pissed off. I live in Galway and there doesnt look to be any kind of snow at all ... what adds to my misery is that I used to live in the Thames valley where its getting the brunt of it, and friends I phoned there say its up passed their ankels. Im so annoyed... forecast really doesnt say much in the way of snow out this direction.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Dark clouds all over Artane, and not a snow flake since early this morning. :(
If they were rain clouds, it would be piddling down all day......sickens me

Why are snow clouds so Goddamn stubborn?

I want a big fat cloud to fall out of the sky...build an igloo

Clouding over in Galway now and the wind is picking up from the NE.

Dark clouds and plenty of them.
But its not looking hopefull for more showers any time soon.

Dirty big black clouds coming in over the mournes now, but it's windy, it'll probably blow them away

Thanks for your confidence. I am certainly not confident anymore.

Today has not gone to plane, i expected deep convection coming off the Irish sea with even the chance of a rumble of thunder but nothing of the sort. Infact looks bone dry out there atm. Hopefully will change in coming hours but im becoming less and less confident as it would seem pretty much everything will conspire for it not to snow here, im sure there will be loads of snow everywhere else mind.
