Sweded TV is back! Want to make your own TV shows? Aged between 12 and 19? Nows your chance! You could win the chance to make and star in your own mini episodes, with a professional TV crew at your disposal.

Sweded TV is a series of short comic films made by teenagers. The phrase sweding became famous when it was used in the Jack Black film Be Kind Rewind to mean making comically lo-fi versions of famous films. Sweding became popular on YouTube and there are many home-made swedes to be seen there. Each episode of Sweded TV swedes a hit TV show instead of a film.

To apply, teenagers must fill in the application form by 6pm on Monday 1st June. The applicants with the funniest and most creative ideas will win and the episodes they make will be shown on teen show TTV, as part of a series called Sweded TV.

Applicants must be part of a group - a group of friends, schoolmates, a sports team, a drama group for example.

This will be the second series of Sweded TV.

Last years winning teenagers were from Dublins North Strand and Ballinteer, Mallow, Cork City and Barna.

For more information and to get the application form go to the official RTE site:

    Good luck! :)
