Fact five: Kerry have failed 3 times to beat the Tyrone team of the decade.
Fact six: Kerry have never beaten Down in championship.
Fact seven: Kerry just always struggle to beat the Northern teams.
Fact eight: Kerry have lost the most All Irelands.
    Rare?

Sure Jesus we won the same amount of Senior All Irelands as ye in last 20 years.

    Speak for yourself.

Be honest your doing your county no favours with childish and petty comments like this.

A thread was set up for the people who hate Cork footballers, maybe your best bet is in that and leave us Cork and Down fans or any genuine GAA fans talk about the final last week

You don't even know what my county is! And my "childish and petty" comments are facts.

And talk about a blatant distortion of facts and statistics! You guys haven't a clue what you're talking about. You're a bunch of small minded idiots calling yourselves Cork supporters! The genuine Cork supporters are too busy enjoying a rare, yes, rare, All Ireland win to be worried about Kerry or any other county. And most other Irish people, myself included, were pleased to see Cork eventually lift Sam. But facts still remain facts whether you like it or not.Kerry and Kilkenny are the all time greats of both football and hurling in Ireland.

So,rant on lads! Be my guest and have the last say if it makes ye feel better!

    Stop.

Smashey posted his warning for a reason. If you can't understand that this thread is for the Cork vs Down final and not a Kerry vs Tyrone vs Cork matchup then don't bother.

    This is a final warning.

Sam Maguire will be visiting the Duhallow area shortly. On Saturday October 2nd it will be in Kanturk home of midfielder Aidan Walsh and on Sunday October 10th it will be in Ballydesmond home of full forward Donnacha O'Connor,2 great nights in store!

Will the Cork team be taking the Sam Maguire Cup to all the Primary and Secondary schools and colleges? This will be some feat in Ireland biggest county if so, although Munster Rugby did a whistle stop tour of the provinces schools when they won in 2006 so hopefully they can work out the logistics of it.

Some of my best Childhood memories was when Sam came to my primary school in 1997 after Kerry won it that year and even though we won it a few times since I only caught it again in 2006 and last year.

Not so sure about that Stinicker but it would be brilliant if they could do that. Just got word a while ago now that Sam Maguire is coming to Kanturk now next Saturday night October 2nd and not the 9th as I previously posted.
