Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Broadband Ballindereen

Hi I have asked locally about broadband supplies - 1 mile Kinvara side of Ballindereen.

I have been told one neighbour gets 2 mg from Eircom but Eircom say they can't guarantee and that you would be tied to a 12 month contract even if there is no service:mad:

Some else uses Airwire but they only give 1 mg.

Has anyone else got any ideas?

We use Airwire and are quite satisfied with the service.

you might be able to get a signal from Lighthouse networks. no signal, no contract and a whole lot easier to deal with than the likes of eircom....:D

Thanks to those who replied, sorry for not thanking quicker. Am still a bit unsure which to go with. When Lighthouse offers 2mg do you know if you actually get that or is it a case of up to 2mg?

Airwire also offer 2m and more for businesses.

Afaik, connections offered are up to whatever you subscribe to. The contention rate is nearly more important than the bandwidth.

    Best of luck.
