Nine Foot Mower on Case JX 90

I want to get a disc mower mainly for topping. Just wondering would a Case JX 90 (90HP) four wheel drive be strong enough to carry and run a nine foot Keverland Mower? No Conditioner straight mower.

9ft Kühn on a Case 4240 here and is no bother to it. Better link arms on the JX too I would imagine

Surely an 8ft would be big enough for the job and less pressure on the tractor

Just bought a new 6foot six drum mower delighted with it. I only want it for topping after the cattle leave the field. I could not justify the cost of new or good second hand disc mower. I took it for a run this evening. It came out brilliant.

I went for one of them polish mowers Lisecki. It was as cheap as chips. It will only 20-40 acres per year. I could not justify €6-8k on a disc mower
