    A. But then it won’t be an AI that would be won. Asterisk doesn’t even get near what it would be described as. Pseudo AI maybe.

    B. The funding issue has been dealt with. 2018 saw the balance happen with Dublin’s funding cut. Hopefully that satisfies you.

    C. Yea right, all the country lads with their premium tickets going to stand outside Croker with banners. Looking forward to seeing you and the other lads here showing what your made of and mounting a protest outside Croker when Dublin has lay there next.

I do believe Dublin should play games somewhere else. I look forward to the GAA and the government matching the 50M Cork GAA received for the re-development of PUC.

    Not at all

Dublin are not getting away “so easy” from the financial doping scandal. Are you crazy?

It’s going to take years of funding for the other counties and little to no funding for Dublin to bring it somewhere close to equality in terms of funds per individual player

Also, full investigation into the accounts and audit of the Dublin operation. Back handers etc rumours need to be addressed.

As someone said earlier on the thread Jim G is the coach of the central bank team at this stage.

Now regarding home away matches - dubs should play an equal number of home and away same as every other county. No more sweetheart pampering for them.

Let them win/lose their matches fair and square.

Now as for splitting Dublin into 4 that is to address the absurd and crazy advantages in terms of population that Dublin has over EVERY other county.

I’d like your preferred option to address this? If not splitting, what?

Are there any other issues that need to be changed in the GAA or can we just do the decent thing and re-name the thread to something that has Dublin in the title. Let’s get honest at least.

Loads of rumours around Ireland on it. No proof just have heard stories.

if I have heard the tales, I’m a nobody when it comes to gaa hierarchy, so I would guess the rumours are rife.

Someone else changed it to: Changes in the GAA- To stop Dublin.
    Seems pretty apt.

This whole thread stems from Dublin establishing themselves on the pitch as the greatest team of all time and the rest of Ireland looking for something, anything to try and detract from that reality. Invent asterisks in your own mind if it makes you feel better, it doesn’t diminish the history being made on the pitch.

Lance Armstrong was considered the greatest cyclist of all time until recently. The East Germans held many world records in athletics until recently. People tend to put asterixes beside achievemnents attained by highly questionable means including financial doping.

Rumours and drink talk are not substantive issues.

You didn’t address it at all

I asked u to address how to bring up all county players to the level Dublin enjoy???

I mean the full spectrum of what a Dublin player gets in terms of funding training condition etc -give me your plan to address this so that there is a LEVEL playing field

I asked u about home away matches for dub?

And I asked you if not splitting in 4, then what??

    So there's none against Dublin.

None of the above are matters for Dublin.

From my answers then that’s your choice.

    So on the Funding issue.

That’s the main one I’m personally interested in

    What’s your solution to that.

They're not. Only GAA HQ can make those changes you're looking for.

So you admit Dublin has inherent advantages and also financial advantages (due to Govt funding and gaa funding) over everyone else?

    Job done if so.

You might be better talking to Joe, his audience might get your argument. I’ve addressed, you’ve chose to deflect.

Dublin players train hard in a field and in a gym.

I suppose the simple thing is to make sure that every county team can train in a field or a gym.

Are there counties where the players don't have access to a field to train in?

The context being Dublin has a factor of 10 + to recruit from compared to ALL other counties.

Hence the need for a 4 way split.
