a different scales down the page about 20€ delivered, a guy on DD was selling them for €90

I went a bit overboard and got one that will weight a ton. The ones rated for 300kg were £25 delivered so working out roughly the same.

I buy a lot of Amazon as I have prime but never off Alli Express. Is Alli Express reliable or do you have to careful?

I see Lidl have a cordless angle grinder for 40 yoyo, no battery. Has anyone bought one? How long would it stay going before it's too hot to hold?

They have a drill for 30 quid and the battery is 30 too...just picked up one the same in woodies for 50 quid with 2 batteries

Bought an electric drill for 19 euro in lidl, it packed it in after abit of heavy use for a few minutes, couldn't find the receipt

I have one from the last time they were in Lidl one of the x20 ones where the batteries are interchangeable, tbh its not great any reasonable force will stop the grinder. I dont use it for cutting much now mostly for cleaning off before welding. If I have to use it on one of the outfarms i make sure and bring 4/5 batteries as it eats batteries for sport.

I mainly use it for sharpening the blades of the shear grab but it's handy for cutting off awkward bolts and stuff where power might not be easily available.

Try using the really narrow cutting disc (stainless I think) and the batteries last a good bit longer dont even attempt to grind with them though or they'll collapse

You need the 4AH batteries not the 2AH. The 2AH are grand with the drill. I have the drill 18 months, I have done a nice but with it. However I have a Bosch 24V for heavy work.

Have the angle grinder found it grand but it cuts out a bit as I have only the 2AH battery, rang the warranty support and I was told you need the 4AH battery. Do not buy one unless you can get a 4AH battery. Tried for one today did not realize they were back in loads of 2AH but no 4AH. 2AH works for ages with the drill cannot fault it

2AH is 16/17 euro, 4AH is 30 euro. I am not sure how much the 2AH+charger is

It seems the 4Ah batteries did not come in. I had people looking in mayo and Galway. None in any shop.

Bought a few inexpensive bits off Ali Express with no problems. Delivery is slow. Bought a tester for cat cables for 4 euro delivered. The exact same 1 was on an Irish website for 50 plus postage.

I use PayPal just in case.

Batteries are a bit issue with cordless tools. Yes Parkside are a budget brand but batteries can be used in other tools routers etc. But the batteries are cheap and are the main failure on cordless tools. Hopefully it will be the same batteries in 5+years time

There is a lad locally that rebuilds tgem. He rebuild the Bosch 24v. But for smaller or cheaper drills access to replacements are a cheaper option. 17 euro for a replacement is as cheap as you will find

I'm looking for a twin nozzle for the sprayer Lance. It's for a quad sprayer. The one I have I walked on it when I left it on the ground. I'd be better off buying an entire handle assembly.
Tried Amazon, eBay, done deal and Connaught Agri and no luck

LIDL have a decent set of flex head ratchet spanners for 13 euro, largest one is 17mm. They also a 12v booster pack for starting something with a flat battery. €55. Might be handy on a frosty morning.

ept.ie have a good deal over a range of tools at the moment. I bought the dewalt drill in this picture. It comes with 2 9ah batteries and if you register with dewalt you get another free 9ah battery. Thought it wasn’t a bad deal
