I thought your name was something to do with Monk :D

I subscribed for a month when I re-reged so maybe that's why I was able to.

Oh yes now I remember. I joined up with a shorter name and then subscribed so I could have this one and add my own avatar.

Retake the falling snow: each drifting flake
Shapeless and slow, unsteady and opaque,
A dull dark white against the day's pale white
And abstract larches in the neutral light.
And then the gradual and dual blue
As night unites the viewer and the view,
And in the morning, diamonds of frost
Express amazement: Whose spurred feet have crossed
From left to right the blank page of the road?

I imagine that it is because yours is all one word. If you used a space instead of a hyphen, it would probably work fine.

You can have more than 15 characters if there is at least one space.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

    Older, 45

It’s pretty scary to realise that 1995 - the halcyon days of misspent youth and college days - was 25 years ago.

    57. It's true what my granny said about time flying and I know now what she meant about still feeling about 18 inside.

Wait what?! And here's me thinking I hit a character limit for the whole name. Had it saved before I copped it though, and shur 'twould be wrong to change it after 13 years.

That doesn't sound scary at all...

Sad and depressing perhaps, but not scary! :pac:

45 is about that age when people take up something like triathlons etc, in some desperate and futile attempt to prove they're not past it yet. So maybe you could give something like that a go!? :D

I envy many of you older folks a bit tbh. One of the great things about being older, is that you are so much closer to death... and death just seems like such an exciting and wonderful prospect - full of beauty and mystery. (Life is great too of course, don't get me wrong!)

49 ......advantages is that it's a lot easier to say no to people without an explanation......
    Disadvantages......I had one but I can't remember cos I'm 49 lol lol

I think Srameen was found to be just somebody fantasizing àbout being an old man, he closed his account when disparities in his posts of the time began to show.

    Really? Any links?

If it was a front, it was a very dedicated one! He was active for years.

    Whens the crucifixion starting ?

My wife describes me as irresponsible, that's a good age.

According to The Holy Bible, the boy Methuselah lived till he was 969 years of age, definitely a non-smoker.

So you are looking to find the youngest person on boards?

Why don’t you take a seat over there.

As this was some years ago I wonder has the general demography of the place shifted up a bracket accordingly, or is there fresh new blood coming in all the time?

49 3/4. Depending on the day and how the hormones are behaving I feel 30 years younger or 30 years older.
