Most are bought because they have the space in the cabs. I worked a fair bit out there and couldn’t get over the amount of them. One of the islanders explained it to me that you could anything you needed in the transport box that cidnt mind getting wet and the groceries in the cab with the wife and kids. We were drinking at the time but it made sense.

Working and drinking out there. You have my sympathy!

Good man! A 7211 I'd say. Have one of them too. It'd pull a house down.

Was it not the 7711 that had the pre cleaner out on the bonnet?
I didn't think the x211 tractors had that until the 7711 came out.

Ours has the pre cleaner out through the bonnet. I have seen 7711's with no pre cleaner.

I hear it's off to a new home in N. Ireland.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

I dont know I like the look of her, I spotted the decals on the roof to but if she was looked after and had paperwork to prove it wouldn't bother me for all id have to do, until you see them in the flesh you never know

I doubt she has a whole lot of contracting work done, in recent times anyway. Sounds to me like he's a lad with one tractor. Probably does a bit of work, and just put his name on it to look good. But, as you say, you need to see any of them in the flesh.

The ultimate zetor perhaps? At the ultimate price!

    Lad i work for had a 14145 and a 14245.
The 14145 was a fat better machine.
    Never split the 14145.
Ive lost count the number of times the 14245 had to be split, clutches, gearbox problems , jumping out of gear, she had an annoying habit of wearing the drive splines to the hydraulic pump.
The 14145 was around a good few years more than the 14245 as well.

Price is probably ex-vat. It will be 20k excluding haulage costs. Probably as good value to be got out there at present. You not but a tractor with vat for that price in Ireland. When you look at it for value compared to the BnaM TK 70 the comparison leaves little doubt as to where the value is

Price is very strong for a 28 year old antique, by the time it's landed and VAT paid you are looking at €22,500

And an odd ball loader with no face plate on it and probably no 3rd service so another €1500 minimum.
Unfortunately though that is the market at the moment.

Haulage would hardly cost 2 k to get it delivered. I see one problem.in that there is no head for the loader. I expect that you would discount the 15k asking by at least 10%. It's a fairly decent tractor for a smaller farm sub 60-80 acres. They are fairly bomb proof. However it would want to be what it says on the tin

2k would be about the norm for a tractor from Glasgow to the south of Ireland.
I wouldn't be buying that yolk at that price. At the end of the day at 28yo its a no.
Hard to justify spending 23k on a tractor for 60 - 80 acres but then again I'm sure lads can convince themselves

Tractors are over priced at present. However what type of tractor would you think you need for a 60-80 acre farm. Most lads may be working as well.on such a unit so any income is taxed at high rate.

You will pay 12-15k at present for clean 2wd 60-80hp tractors without a loader trying to get a realatively decent tractor with a loader sub 20k is tough at present. It's has a decent rear lift capable of lifting two bales. It got a virtual shuttle and it's a fairly straightforward tractor. Disadvantage is the cab is prone to rust. However the model above has low hours if genuine it's would last on such a farm 20+ years.

As I said I would expect a discount on the price that would get it into a yard for 20-21k euro. It's as good a value as anything out there at that presently

There used to be a modification where they replaced the Zetor steering box with an orbital box from a dumper,

Nah thinking of trading in 1, love bought tractors tho. We had the fiat since new so even a harder decision

Last price offered by a dealer I heard for a 110 90 was 32k, IMHO that's the one to keep. Farmer is sending it off for a tidy up and keeping it. What are you looking at?

Looking at a 10 yr old case with more power, no seat for the kids in the fiat and not as comfy. Second fiat is out abit so will rust if not kept inside
