Going underground in Mayo

Hi all

In the past i saw someone with a video of them exploring caves on land somewhere in mayo

Does anyone have any idea where this could be

There's a cave under Downpatrick Head but you need a boatman who knows the tides.

I wouldn't have thought Mayo has the same type of rock as the Burren which has lots of caves made by rivers.

Ive been in that cave at the head so many times now i nearly know it better than my sitting room

There is defo somewhere in mayo....i seen it on a video but cannot allocate it

There is a karst area with a good few caves around the Cong/Clonbur region, so partly in Galway and Mayo. If you look at the river in Cong you'll notice it pops straight out of the ground just at the edge of town.

Petersburgh Outdoor Education centre around there use a cave near by to take groups spelunking.
