I know this board does not allow ticket sales on this site but mine is a request for tickets!
I would like to surprise my boy and bring him to this game for his birthday. The problem is that we are not members of any club, so getting tickets is not that easy. What's the best way of aquiring tickets at this stage. I have been told by a few people to travel up to Dublin on the day and ask around as there will always be spares floating around. If I was on my own this would be ok, but I need two together for obvious reasons.

    Any help?
    if so please pm me.

To be honest it is going to be quite difficult to get tickets for this game at this stage especially since tickets didn't go on general sale and the fact that you are looking for 2 together.

My advise is to get there early and hit the pubs to see if anyone is selling, such as people that perhaps bought for a friend who hasn't or cannot come.

Places like, Birmingham's, Big Tree etc can be good for this at times.

    Best of luck.

    That what i meant.

You have left it very late and as you said you arent a member of a club,so your options are limited.

Probably not going to help you at this late stage but more of a recommendation for the future.

Join the Irish rugby supporters club (€50 a year), for the last few years they've sold tickets to members and I've been lucky enough to get tickets each year. They have a message board where they allow tickets to be bought and sold (at face value only. if you're desperate it could be worth a punt.

I've found the supporters club a useful means of obtaining tickets legally and would recommend people unaffliated with clubs to join.

Ideal situation is to ask local rugby clubs if you know someone involved with them. That or else the Irish Rugby Supporters Club.

I assume you got sorted. There will be plenty of tickets available on the day. Guaranteed. Take up is definitely down - and prices are way too high.

FYI - any munster supporters club members can buy tickets from 2pm today.

No, not sorted yet. As I want to bring my son I will need to have the two together. I am not a member of any club or supporters club.

reiterate the call to join either the Irish supporters club or the supporters club of your home province. They usually have tickets for their members.

Yeah I'd say that walking to the stadium you'll come across some club members who want to get rid of some tickets that they have spare. They usually sell them at face value, but there is no guarantee you'll get one.

HI. My son just got a ticket for the match and wants me to bring him up as he has not been before. Has anyone got a ticket that they are not using? Please?

As you can see the best bet is to drive him up and then ask behind the bars for tickets.
