Golf handicap defamation appeal turned down
Sunday, April 19, 2009 By Kieron Wood

A Dublin pensioner who sued his golf club for defamation over his golf handicap has lost his appeal to the Supreme Court. Thomas Talbot, who is a member of Hermitage Golf Club, sued the club, former handicap secretary Eddie Murphy and the Golfing Union of Ireland for defamation and damages over the regulation of his handicap.

Thought i was reading an article that should have been written 18 days before but its actually true
