    usually 40-50 runners

My aim is not to be heading home when it is still bright.

yeah I played it a couple of weeks ago and I think there was about 40 runners, thats a great promotion though. Might head up next Monday, thanks for info Smurph!

    LOL just LOL.

Smurph got done by Big Stewy (who actually had a hand for a change!), and yes it was still bright when she got home!

The Fitz were out the door tonight, fair play to them for doing the promotion, started with 12 tables.

    No recession round there, LOL:D:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 991 ✭✭✭tm2204

Yeah, fair play. 96 for this tonight with a prizepool of €8,200 with the added cash. Not bad for a €75 FO.

    :D

Wow 96 thats an amazing turn out!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,079 ✭✭✭smurph

They sent a text to everyone about it. Quite amazing really, it was busier than the end of month tournament. I think the fitz were a little taken back by the turnout aswell...

Played a bit like a donkey to be honest, still wrecked from the Cards the weekend I suppose,

    any news of winners etc.,?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,079 ✭✭✭smurph

    8.30/8.40 p.m.

They are pretty good at starting on time
the numbers last week (96) threw them a bit I think so there was a 15 min delay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 991 ✭✭✭tm2204

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 165 ✭✭baz2007

Ul. I think they told us on the final table there were 101. Great turnout: it's great to see the place where I learned to play live thriving.

Up and down like a pro.....er, yoyo on the FT. Deal done four handed as blinds massive and everyone was playing correctly making it a flipping contest. We all took third prize (1300) and agreed to flip on for the rest. Eventually chopped that equally three handed after Tiltmeup made an incredible recovery from 1 big.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,079 ✭✭✭smurph

97 runners (I think this week)
there was a 6 way chop for 1K
then the remainder was split 3 ways at 4ish this morning.

I don't know the full breakdown....
But Martin was in the mix for the 2 chops so happy days:D:D waterford sorted.

Managed to last until the 300 600 with a 50 ante, which for me at the moment is astounding.

Olly you will be home by midnight latest IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,079 ✭✭✭smurph

    I would change that to a 4.a.m. + finish - 3 way split finished 4.15 a.m.
    last week..
    98 runners

90% probable but the odd time if I did luckbox my way to the FT I'd like to be able to get up the next morning. And 4.15am just isn't going to cut it. :(

At least it leaves the field wide open for you guys!

How many runners did this get?
anyone I know in the money?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,039 ✭✭✭Theresalwaysone

    93 I think.

Im not the person to ask about the money. I donated my stack stupidly. Doke was on my table for a while and was still in when I left, he might know.

Nah, I went with 3 or maybe 4 tables left.

    Which seat were you in?

Four of us split the money for €1300 each with €200 for the dealers.

Finish time was 4am and it would have been sooner but the Scandie (I think) wanted far too much of the prize pool for his chip count!

Anyway he then proceed to lost a 120k pot and so settled up ! :)
