So how would people feel about this as a final list?
The first annual Jizzler awards 2009
Best Poster
Best Thread
Funniest poster
Best Taste in Music
Best Dressed
Best Mod
Best Beard
Poster you'd least like to be stuck in a lift with
The Niceguy award for nicest poster
The Lifetime Achievement Award for services to C+H (Basically the person who spends most time here
)
If people are happy with this we can move on and open a proper nominations thread. Would be great to get this done before the year's end.0 -

I'm willing to facilitate some sort of order to the "jizzler awards".
However, as it's the posters who make the forum, it should be up to you to get things moving. I know I am just a regular poster most of the time too, but to be honest I'm too lazy to start making polls and stuff :P 0 -

I've no problem running it if people want. I'd probably enjoy it in a sad, strange way. I did bring up the whole thing, probably should be my burden to carry
To answer Jay P's question, I would assume there would be a thread for voting on each award. We need a nominations thread first of course. Leave that open for a couple of days, then throw a couple of polls up.0 -

The soccer forum is doing something like this. Their model might be a good one to follow. Take a glance through their threads for some handy ideas.0 -

Cheers to Bobalicious for organising all this; the idea occurred to me at one point but I was far too lazy to ever bring it up!
You might regret it though when you're busy making polls for every category, especially since people are just randomly adding categories as they go along. :pac:0
