It would have been way better if Hannah worked for The Ring and was punk'n Chuck.

That would have been rubbish. That particular 'twist' has been done to death at this stage.

And it has been done already on Chuck..

Richard.. this is why you shouldn't start watching a show 3 seasons in!

I can never get into a show late in its' run, not sure how some people do it. I just find it weird to try to understand who the characters are, what their motivations are, etc if I haven't watched from the beginning... I actually end up catching some shows even years after they originally aired, going through the box sets from the start for each one... (though my backlog of shows is increasingly getting bigger :)).

Have to agree with the lads though, Hannah as a Ring agent would be a terrible twist exactly because it has been done to death in the previous seasons. If it was the first season, it'd be ok to accept it, but not at this stage...

+1. Her role as a conventional love interest, a future which a "normal" Chuck should/would have, is better than a rehashed secret agent/ring operative etc

Seriously? Please tell me you're taking the piss... As much as I like my vampire mythology, if Vampires start showing up in Chuck, I'll get pissed...

It's reference to desparate attempts to find something for the Lana character (played by Kreuk) in Smallville to do. She was a vampire in one episode.

Remind me never to watch 'Smallville'...

    Good episode overall.

Thought Chuck impersonating the assassin was a nice bit of variation for once.

Well that was the finest 40 minutes of television I've seen in a long time...
If Chuck doesn't get renewed for a 4th season, it'll be a sad day in TV land...
So many twists in that episode - it was great... And a double-cliffhanger - you can't ask for more than that...
Also, I noticed Zac Levi directed this episode and a grand job he did too... Anyone know if this was his directorial debut?

That was brilliant. This is probably the only show, bar maybe Supernatural, that gets better and better every single week. So many brilliant moments in 40 minutes of tv. Fantastic.

Superb episode.. felt almost a season finale!

But so many classic moments including Jeffster doing some Creedance, the always-superb Diedrich Bader and Morgan's reaction at what his friend has been hiding for two and a half years.

Also loved the nods to infamous WWII photos:

    This season is kicking arse..!

    It was indeed!

Damn fine job he did too to be fair!

My husband thought it was the finale!:)

Great episode. I love how it's got the parallel of Morgan being delighted to know the secret and Devon who initially thought it was "awesome" now being terrified for his life.

whos the guy that phoned casey at the end, has it got anything to do with what chuck flashed on an episode or 2 back,

dont you just love this shows references to pop culture, with the rocky scene, the flag and the kiss, theres a few others juts cant think right now, all done with great taste,

excellent episode and its moving along at a great pace, roll on renewal confirmation,

Just a warning: by reading the synopsis of the next episode, it's fairly obvious!

:D - ah ok, I got the flag nod ok but wasn't sure about the kiss...

Fantastic throughout, a simply flawless episode (you can't go wrong when you throw Jeffster into the mix :)).

BTW, what the hell was Jeff drinking to "take the edge off"? :) Chloroform? I thought so cause of the way it knocked out the Ring agent accidentally but not too sure...

He wasn't drinking it, just pouring it on a cloth and sniffing it. It's a joke from last series when he found some in Casey's locker and picked it up saying, "Mind if I get right?"

Another fantastic episode, wasn't expecting Morgan to find out this soon at all, really well sprung on you.

Also I have this bad feeling something is gonna happen to Awesome soon, don't know why but it's been building.

The Ring calling Casey at the end is intriguing, no way he'll turn though.

That was great. Loved the duck hunt bit at the end. This season is turning out to be great. I'm with you frisbee. Something has to happen. Awesome and ellie moving would be just too easy a way for them to leave, I imagine the ring will kill him off. If that does happen it'll devastate chuck and probably make him worry about morgan.

How the chuck are they gonna top that for the finale?! I mean that wasn't even an episode with a break after it! So much happened - I love how the Morgan reveal happened. How Awesome is now afraid. How good Bader was. How superbly they wove in the Ring storyline with the Buy More. We got a great cliffhanger and we even got Chuckin' Jeffster!.

    Great stuff.

I really don't want to see him killed off but there was actually a bit in that episode where I though he was a goner.

You know at the very end after he talks to Chuck outside the apartment and then he's kinda slow-mo walking at the camera?

I was fully expecting a gunshot and Devon to go down, purely because things seemed to have ended to well for everyone and there had to be some downside. But then of course we got Casey answering The Ring phone.
