Channel 4 stated that pricewise picked a new story in the racing post.
Is the irish version different than the english one ?.
    I for 1 didn't see it.

There was two different sections from Tom in todays paper. His older already advised bets and then todays bets. A New Story was on page 39.

    Taken from another site
Pricewise’s Tom Segal tipped up Celestial Halo in today’s Racing Post and, not surprisingly, the generally available 14/1 soon disappeared - although you can still grab 12/1. 15/2 with boyles
This was hardly a gamble of epic Pricewise proportions - most probably due to the fact that most punters seem to believe that Binocular is a stone-bonking certainty for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle.

That site seem a bit odd. First he didn't tip Celestial Halo in the Post as far as I can see and 2nd I don't think anyone thought Binocular was a stone-bonking certainty for the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle.
    I mean WTF?

Unless their just using his name, but they did tip up 3 winners.

    A €1 e/w yankee would have returned €930 and a €1 e/w lucky 15 would have returned €990.

    Wow

    Anyone do this ?

Yer spot on, many of the shrewdies will keep their powder dry until ground comes good. He was fkn amazing today at Cheltenham. It's a right pile of work as well to go through all those big fields. And time after time he digs out some beauties. HAIL SEGAL:D

Taking in all Toms tips whats the best type of bet you can do Mike eg yankee etc?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,968 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Well there are 6 so thats a Heize (e/w obviously esp at the prices), or rather its two of them as he has two picks in the 4.00

One might be tempted to drop one or two and go for the shorter priced ones but that is when you miss the biggest winner of the day (sods law etc)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 189 ✭✭Amaru KGB

Yeah its a hrad one to try and pick a couple and leave some out. Its always the what might happen that can scare you.

Does he always go for the longer priced horses as it seems that not many tipsters have many here.

    What are you thinking yourself?
