CM Punk is a hero of epic proportions. He's an excellent techincal wrestler (see his RoH day inc his matches with Samoa Joe) and his mic work has improved greatly lately. Granted, he was a bland face at the start of his WWE career but he has mastered the heel role perfectly imo. Since the start of the S.E.S, Punk has become 1 of the major heel's in WWE and 1 thing I always look forward to on SD is Punk cutting a promo.

Have to admit that he has overtaken Jericho as my top heel.

Love his promo work, and in ring he is both entertaining, and technically sound.

He's good alright.

Have loved him ever since his unbelievable feud in ROH with Raven back in 2003. One of the most natural good talkers in the business and plays his character exceptionally well. ROH was never as unpredictable and exciting as his mini-run with the title when he was supposed to be gone to WWE.

And great in-ring worker as well, especially in longer matches.

He's really good and all but he's been cutting the same promo for nearly a year now and I've gotten bored of it. Still, great facials and chest hair, and I guess he has the "best beard" title now Knox is gone.

Punk is simply tremendous, his ECW debut is one of favourite WWE moments ever, and thats what got him over with WWEs audience as he looked like such a massive deal... He's also probably the first darling of the internet to be WWE champion too, which is a achievement in its self considering the IWC thought he'd have to lose his gimmick and never be allowed get over..

Everyweek when the smackdown spoilers come out the first thing I do is scan for Punks name see what he was up to and skip the rest.

I enjoy his performances more than any other.

Seeing him take on Jericho at the O2 when they were part of the raw tour last year was outstanding. Fantastic match and my favourite wrestling moment.

It's the little things (in my opinion) that make him the best character in WWE:

He drops Star Wars lines with a completely straight-face: "I find his lack of faith disturbing"

The towel he wore on Raw.

When John Morrison was supposed to have a bad leg and had Punk in a headlock on the mat, Punk kept trying to kick Morrison's leg.

I think he's great but last night was his firest great match since summerslam.
If he continues with a few great matches i think he overlap Jericho but at the moment and on last nights display Jericho is still the main heel.

But on the mic he's been great and with Orton right now he's the hottest thing in wrestlign WWE have. what a great feud that would be.

First time I saw him was Survivor Series 2006. He was on a team with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy. And yet the crowd were chanting for CM Punk. Unbelievable. I'd never even seen the guy before and he's getting bigger pops than DX and The Hardyz? Knew he had to be something special. And he has been.

The video in the first post shows why. That whole segment was one of the greatest WWE/WWF moments I've seen. Whoever came up with it was a genius, but CM Punk took it to another level.

He is brilliant, no doubt about it

His feud with Jeff was one of the best if not the best last year. I hope he regains the world title again some time this year

I always liked him as a face but he is way way better as a heel and leader of SES

He's a legend and a natural heel right up there with Jericho, Flair and The Rock. I only tune in to watch him, the Miz and Jericho these days.

One day after I consumed too many of the "products" I relied on as a crutch I woke up in a state of sickness and despair, it wasn't for the first time I found myself in such a mess. Out of nowhere I found the strength to get up and go outside. I felt a calling in the distance.

As I made my way through the local park I heard the church bells ringing in the distance. It was then my saviour appeared and Offered his kinship. He told me that he, and only he, could save me, all I had to do was pledge myself to following a straight edge lifestyle.

I made the pledge. Together set about changing the way I live and shaved my head as a symbol of the removal of my impurities. Gone are the days of excess and now with CM Punks support I live a pure existence.

Today and every day I make the same pledge.

CM Punk getting his head shaved changes nothing. He is still the Straight Edge Savior and is still going to be a positive influence on the WWE Universe. Rey Mysterio lost his opportunity at salvation. He will remain the lost soul.

Our Lord, CM Punk, has had surgery on his arm last week. The word backstage was that Punk could be out of 4-8 weeks from the procedure on his arm. Apparently he had been working hurt for a few weeks at least.

Punk came out tonight on the Smackdown taping with his arm in a sling.
