Still cheap considering the amount of damage it could do if it got into the wrong hands.

    Edited :)

How much is carriage though? I bet its like ebay where you pay €5 for something and end up paying a fortune for postage.

I would assume it would be the standard rate for a 40ft containor provided the weight is not too excessive.

Its not the first time that shippng containers have been accomodated for stealth use. :p

"This Club-K is game changing with the ability to wipe out an aircraft carrier 200 miles away. The threat is immense in that no one can tell how far deployed your missiles could be," said Robert Hewson, editor of Jane's Air-Launched Weapons, who first reported on the Club-K developments.

Surely the effect depends on the payload that's delivered. I'm no expert in Naval matters but I'd imagine you'd need a hell of a bang to sink a large aircraft carrier.... I suppose you could make a mess of the flight-deck assuming your missiles penetrate the defenses around the ship.

This will probably feature in the next episode of 24 with them being sunck into the US on cargo ships......

A nuke tip on one of these would do a fair amount of damsge to an aircraft carrier or if a conventional head on one was aimed at a nuclear power station or processing plant like Cellafield. :p

The music @ 4:17 sounds very like music from the Pirates of the Caribbean...

It does give warfare a different means of attack.

Novator, the manufacturer, is an advanced missile specialist that would not have marketed the system without Moscow's approval.
This I find interesting, and very true. It would seem the KGB is helping enemies of the USA in a way that cannot be openly traced back to Soviet Russia.

Right at the start the use of the "Born Free" theme cracked me up. Throw in some Jeehun Hwang (Mech Warrior) sound a like stuff and then a dash of something that sounds like "The Last of the Mohicans". The video looks like some joke created by students who really should be studying.....
Does defence news have slow news weeks?
