White Irish leave, Black Irish stay....may be trouble ahead?

So the white Irish and other white nationalities leave - Poland is doing well as are many other Eastern EU states. Irish people are gettting the **** out of here. Africans are staying - who wants to go back to Africa?

Problem is because of this the racial divide is increasing. When, not if, the country defaults on it's debt it will be every man for himself. We may only have African immigrants left in a year's time! But serious problems are coming for them and other immigrants.

What do you think of the strange dynamic facing us?

so many people on this site find it hard to discuss this issue with any sense of maturity.

personally i feel the current ethnic state of ireland is in complete dissarray.

ireland has completely lost its identity and has become europes prostitute.

Aren't you from Belfast, outside this jurisdiction? Of course people from this state have decided that some people from outside the state are welcome to live and work here, be they from Northern Ireland, Britain or the EU. Sorry but I'm edging towards agreeing with Paky on this one. ireland IS turning into europe's prostitute. We're getting rode by everyone including our very own Government. For those that think there isn't a racial divide starting to happen I wish I believed that. Unfortunately I've seen this starting to grow at an alarming rate in small towns across the country. i travel a lot with work and tend to spend my time in rural bars across the country. Maybe it's a small town thing or just a lack of education but some of the young lads today scare me we are to belive they actually believe some of the bull**** that is coming out of their mouths.

It's shocking some of the talk I've heard recently relating to our foreign counterparts. i think people are just angry and looking for as many people to blame as they can.

There is of course going to be a lot of frustration in difficult times that can often find an outlet in the wrong place. But I do not think there is a particularly serious problem in Ireland.
There aren't regular reports of immigrants being burnt out of their homes (not on this part of the island anyway

), there are no race riots on the streets and there isn't the emergence or growth of any anti-immigration political force. In short, nothing to see here.

That's them, not the immigrants though. Ireland may be getting rode by its government but who else? There's some extremely misinformed nonsense believed in relation to asylum seekers. I don't believe Ireland should just let in anyone at all long-term (whatever colour/religion they are, whatever language they speak - usually those with unbalanced, unresearched stuff to say in these debates have a problem specifically with those who are non white and/or non English speaking, non western, from a poor/wartorn country, non christian; they seem far less concerned in relation to immigrants who are white, English speaking, from a developed/western country, christian) as it's just not possible - I wouldn't expect to be let into any country I felt like living in either, but Ireland DOESN'T just leave anyone in.

Are you saying that because white people are emigrating from Ireland and the existing black people who live in Ireland are remaining in Ireland there will be an increases in the differences and tensions (what I assume you mean by racial divide) between the remaining white people in Ireland and the remaining black people in Ireland?

Why should a decrees in the population of a majority race effect there attitude to a minority race unless you believe that race to be in some way worse than yours. This is the very definition of racism and your attitude is shameful.
