Where to buy fuel stabiliser?

Will be storing the car, motorbike (carb'ed) and 2 quads (1 EFI, 1 carb'ed) for up to a year.

In the US, I used to Stabil-1, a fuel additive added to the tank and allowed to run thru the system for 10 mins or so. It stopped the petrol turning to gunk.

Anyone know where I can get a fuel stabiliser here?

Halfords and most hardware/tool shops don't stock it.

    Thanks.

Thats the type of fluid I am looking for.

Would prefer to buy in Dublin if possible.

    Thanks for the link!

Don't like the sound of that!

Why not just drain the fuel from all?

Actually it's great stuff - used it on my bike and quads before I shipped them here.

We also used it on our boat when storing for the winter.

It is actually better for the bike (as it has a steel tank) to avoid rusting - you fill the tank to the brim to expel and moisture.

It also stops any fuel left over in the carburettor for gumming up.

I have seen it for sale in some boat shops.

Motorcycle's should be stored with tank full to stop corrosion inside tank.

this http://www.stanadyne.com/docs/puba/99549%20Additive%20brochure%20rev%201-11.pdf is freely available in all agri stores in ireland. now it say for diesel only but i know there f*** all difference between it ant the petrol one. it stabalises the fuel and does a lot more. 235 ml treats 140ltrs so its cheaper by volume too.

Hi all thanks for the replies.

FYI, I was able to get Fuel Stabiliser by Sta-bil from my local Honda Bike dealer.
