I think it kicks off at 10am on Sunday at the Harvey Norman retail park in Drogheda.
Straight up the M1 and take the Donore exit at Drogheda, the park will be on your right.

good idea Furiousox, i completely forgot to include any details.

As Pat says, its starts at 10 am on Sunday at the opel garage (across from Harvey norman). Starts at retail park,Donore,Duleek,Balrath,Garlow x,Bective,Scurlugstown,Summerhill,Dunsany,Ross x,Skryne,Duleek, and back to retail park.Total approx 94km.The shorter route turns left at garlow x and then left again at ross x and is on the same route as the longer one at that stage total 50km

if anyone has any questions just shout!

    thanks,

I'm planning on doing this but the weather for Sunday doesn't look the best at the mo, hopefully that will change to nice warm sunshine by Sunday.

Forecast seems to have improved, dry on sunday with sunshine, only 10 degrees though.

Worth noting for anyone considering doing this and dithering at the prospect - that it's a fairly flat route.

    100 riders @ 10 euro = 1,000 euro for CHARITY.

    80 riders @ 20 euro = 1,600 euro for CHARITY.
    ;)

i'm not against sportives, but somewhere along the line some smart ass realized this would be a great way to earn handy money .correct me if i'm wrong but are all these events not carried out on public roads, and on the food thing what idiot would go out on a 100 km ride without bringing food with them thats what the pockets in your jersey is for.
by all means support charity's but i certainly can not afford to ride one every week with some of the crazy prices they charge.
dunleer was a great example last summer 10euro entry loads food tea/coffee great cycling route and great Marchelle's i rest my case;)

Word of warning for anyone doing this was out on part of the course today and you'll need to watch out for potholes/craters here:

It's the road just before u rejoin the abbey road to duleek on the way back home towards duleek/drogheda, be very very careful.

done and dusted did you all enjoy it ,our group was home first we just did the 50 at a lovely pace and we had a great ride, it was a pantomime to watch the fast lads killing one another to get to the finish line first guess i'm just jealous as i'm well past that

It was a lovely morning so I took a quick drive up from Swords to give the longer spin a bash, got to 63km and all was rosy, some of the hole calling had been a bit patchy, shouting holes and not pointing at them is, well, kinda pointless.

Anyways hit a crater and punctured both tyres, only had one spare tube, thankfully a couple of stragglers stopped and gave me a dig out with a spare tube. First puncture in 5000km so I can't complain I guess. Anyways just took it handy from there onwards and had a chat with the 2 lads who gave me a hand.

Great day for a spin, cool, crisp, blue skies and sunshine. You can't go wrong!
