Would it be worth the money or get another mtb for the same money

If it's not a stupid question, what are you proposing to use a folding full suspension MTB for?

Well start of with some light trials, and some country roads, normal roads. Would like a bit of an all rounder it there is such a bike.

    Unfortunately not.

Full suspension MTBs are generally considered to be woeful on roads, and folding bikes are usually compromised in some way that isn't necessarily obvious.

I can find no proper reviews of this bike on the internet, which probably means they are never submitted to magazines; apparently Montague has been making them for decades.

Unless you have some experience of full sussers and can get a full test ride I would avoid this bike.

I do this kind of spin in dry weather on a hybrid with 36 spoke wheels and 35mm deep thread tyres. Not grip in wet muddy conditions though.

you don't need full sus for light trails - it will probably be heavy anyway which makes climbing harder.

If I had €1150 I'd get an entry-level hardtail like a Ghost SE or this B'twin 8.1 for around €600 or so and an entry-level road bike e.g.

2 proper bikes, designed to the job!

Thanks for that. Yea I was half thinking that myself. Might make more sense getting a decent roadbike and a decent mountainbike. I presume you could get 2 decent bikes for around 1200. Instead of spending on one. But then i start thinking would it be better having one great bike instead of 2 half decent ones lol. Decisions decisions

Yes, if one or both are second hand.

It's best to think of MTB and road cycling as different sports with different equipment requirements.

At least you can wear the same clothes, more or less.
