I've been trying the shops round town for 2 weeks and haven't seen anything decent.

I'm looking for a a road bike from the last few years for under €500. As what I used to ride wasn't brilliant, I"m not terribly fussy. I'm just looking for something with a 56-58cm frame, drop-down bars, and in good condition.

I'll also need a lock, lights, mudguards, etc, so I"m flexible. €500 is my max for strictly the bike.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers.

    How are ya Eoin?

I'm selling this over on adverts:

Some kind of a deal could be made to include the mudguards and lights, but your max for bike only corresponds nicely with my asking price! Aluminium frame with carbon fork and stays, campag drivetrain and Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels, it's a very reliable build all told.

    Thanks for the link.

What's banded to the front fork? Is it a speedo?

Hi Eoin Eamon, at the moment, a speedo and a front mudguard are attached to the fork, the speedo using cable ties, the guard using rubber straps (it's the SKS Raceblade system), and the lot is tidied using black electrical tape, because sometimes the two pieces would move relative to each other, causing the speedo to not pick up the signal. I found that taping them down has been a good solution. Of course, if you were interested in the bike, the tape would be coming off and the fork would be getting a proper clean.
