Out of that lot? God, apart from The Newsroom, they all look awful (Just looked up youtube trailers/blurb). I really am looking forward to The Newsroom though (Sorkin and HBO. What's not to love?). Actually, that Longmire thing looked good

    So......... The Olympics

Not much to interest me over the summer, except "True Blood".

Of the new shows I know about, "Continuum" may be okay (I have my reservations).
Pinning most of my hopes though on "The Newsroom".

Mr E is just saying that the final episodes of the last season won't air until 2013. The first half of the final season (a sort of mini season in itself) airs this year.

If I can avoid the 38 channels showing 24hr live coverage of the Olympics, I'll be happy.

As we're into the last week or two of the 2011-2012 Winter TV season stateside, it's time to start looking towards what the Summer has to offer. For me this year I'll be looking forward to the return of some well loved old reliables like White Collar, Covert Affairs, Warehouse 13 and Breaking Bad. As we get through so many shows on this thread, I thought it might be a good idea for those of us who wanted to recommend some good summer shows to be able to do so on a thread. That's why this thread exists!

Looks like there's some good stuff coming up according to here: http://www.cybermage.se/tv-index/when-is-my-favorite-tv-show-coming-back/

So what's worth watching this Summer?

Rookie Blue hopefully. Checked out the first two episodes the other week and rather liked it. Hope to catch up soon enough so I can finish season 3 live.

Also the fifth and final season of Damages. *sniff* End of an era.

I'll be watching a few returning shows:
    Teen Wolf
    Awkward
    Jane by Design
    Pretty Little Liars
(yeah I know, shows for teens but...oh you know...)

and the adult in me is going to watch
    Breaking Bad
    Alphas
    Suits

quite a few new titles sound interesting but I'll decide what to follow after seeing pilots
