    Opening Segment:

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR WWE MAIN EVENT FOR THIS WEEK!
WWE Smackdown opens with Miz TV. The Miz, looking upset and depressed, talks about how he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Kofi Kingston. He then says that he will invoke his rematch clause against Kingston at Hell in a Cell. MizTv introduces Team Hell No. The Miz talks about how Daniel Bryan is the weak link, and he begins to instigate Kane and Bryan. They begin to argue.
Big Show made his way to the ring and talks about his loss to Daniel Bryan in 45 seconds. He also says he is going to beat Sheamus at Hell in a Cell. Dolph Ziggle comes out and says that he is going to cash in at Hell in a Cell. Booker T ends up coming out and making Ziggler and Big Show vs. Team Hell No for later tonight, as well as Miz vs. Randy Orton.

    1. Randy Orton defeats The Miz. Orton finished off The Miz with an RKO. This was a pretty good match with Orton gaining most of the offense. During the match, Alberto Del Rio was sitting in a luxury box watching the match.

    - Teddy Long is backstage with Sheamus. He talks about wanting a rematch with Wade Barrett, and Teddy books a Lumberjack Match for tonight.

    2. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow defeats Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Rhodes and Sandow made quick work of their opponents, in a quick match that seemed to not get over with the crowd.

    3. Team Hell No defeats Big Show and Dolph Ziggler. Daniel Bryan was the scapegoat in the match, as Show and Ziggler focused on him for most of the match. Kane ended up getting the hot tag and cleaning house, until Bryan blind tagged himself back in the match. He locked in the No Lock and made Ziggler tap out.

    4. Antonio Cesaro defeated Ted DiBiase in a non-title match. Cesaro picked up the victory in a quick match. It was nice to see Ted back on Smackdown. Cesaro would beat him down quickly and finish him off with the Neutralizer.

3MB came out to the ring and talked about being the best group in the WWE. Drew McIntyre screeched and tried to sing. Brodus Clay interrupted them.

    5. Heath Slater defeated Brodus Clay. McIntyre and Mahal distracted Clay during the match, which led to Slater picking up the quick win.

    6. Layla beat Natalya. Layla picked up the quick victory while Eve was on commentary.\

    7. Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett in a lumberjack match. It was a great slugest between the heavyweights. As the match progressed, the lumberjacks ended up fighting. Team Hell No came out and fought everyone as well. Sheamus surprised Barrett with a Brogue Kick to pick up the victory.

Ziggler tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, but Big Show hit the KO punch. He threatened that this would happen to Ziggler again if he tried anything at Hell in a Cell.

Cesaro is on a winning streak but he needs a proper feud for the title imo not sure with who though Truth, Swagger (where is he btw), Christian, Kidd or back to Santino again perhaps

Was Ted DiBiase injured or what?

Sounds like a decent SD! overall.

His Gimmick would work against Zack Ryder

Was King present I wonder? The taping was in Memphis and he had talked about hoping to be there in some capacity.

Probably just to show his face and show he's well!

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler made an appearance at the WWE Smackdown taping last night in Memphis, Tennessee. Lawler addressed the crowd saying he hopes to be back on commentary in the next few weeks. WWE.com is promoting an exclusive interview with Lawler conducted by Michael Cole later today.

hope Sheamus getting a win over Barrett does not mess thinks up for a potential feud. Don't think they needed to have them face off again but hopefully the finish is done in such a way that Barrett does not look weak.

Three times in two weeks they've faced off :/

Brodus has really fallen down the ladder recently. It wasnt that long ago he was helping Cena against Big Show, now he's losing to Heath Slater in what sounds like a pretty short match.

Only so much life in a comedy dancer gimmick I suppose.

I'm very disappointed in the way Ziggler has been handled since his MITB win. I don't think it has elevated him in any meaningful way.

Feed to Ryback on Raw and KO'd by Big Slow on SD poor Ziggles

Don't think he has enough charisma or skill on the mic to ever be considered a serious main eventer. His entire look and act screams mid card.As does Vickie.

His entire look and act screams mid card.

The same could be said for The Miz before he won the WWE Championship! but he really grew into a good champion. Maybe the same will happen for Ziggler, either that or he'll go the Jack Swagger route of post-MITB cash in.

I disagree personally. HBK had the show-off gimmick for years and became a legend with the act, and Ziggler has the wrestling ability to back up the act. I can accept the arguments with regards his charisma; he could do with someone like Heyman becoming his mouth piece. A proper manager, not just one designed to get cheap heat....

He totally surprised me a few weeks ago when he did match commentary due to how really good he was and its such a waste for him to be lumped with Vicky :(

Ziggler tried to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, but Big Show hit the KO punch. He threatened that this would happen to Ziggler again if he tried anything at Hell in a Cell.

I wish that was what he said along with something about needing to get the victory over Sheamus to prove he's the better man since, in theory, Ziggler would be an easier win for him. Or so that their HiaC match would still be for the championship.

    ----

Disagree with the negative comments on Ziggler's mic skills and his credibility to be champion. I don't think being taken down by the PPV's number one contenders is a bad thing even if he isn't being done any favours losing matches so often. In a way the MitB is being presented as the cheap way to win at the moment when his in-ring ability should be an additional threat.

For me Ziggler's mic skills have vastly improved over the years. Sure they're nowhere near his skills in the ring but hey, neither were/are Jeff Hardy's and I think Guerrero was paired with Ziggler to be his mouthpiece. However, the time is coming for her to step aside and do something else. Admittedly, her has voice has descended into noise and the catchphrase is overdone yet she can still be effective if she moves onto another wrestler who could do with a manager. Not sure who, mind. JTG?

    ----

Jinder Mahal looks so out of place with "3MB". Unlike McIntyre who has embraced the gimmick. Then again, there's not much I like about Mahal anyway. Khali's back, right? Make those two a team again and send them after Team Hell No Friendship. Pair Barreta and Hawkins, and DiBiase - unless They plan on getting his singles momentum back - and McGullicutty while you're at it. ;)

Is Khali back? I'd like to see him behave how he did years ago and crush all in his path.

    I agree about Mahal.

Drew slots into the gimmick perfectly thanks to his look. Mahal, who is keeping parts of his old gimmick, looks completely out of place. He also looks embarrassed and completely lacks confidence while the other two are giving it their all....

Yes. He was on the Smackdown taping doing a Saturday Morning Slam match with Primo.

When is Henry back? He'd be a decent feud for Sheamus and a huge upgrade on Big Show.

If Sheamus started a feud with his own shadow it`d be better than a feud with Big Show.

I really like Khali. He fascinates me, the spectacle of his size. You can print that.
