That's one sick man right there!

How evil do you have to be to abuse kids lying, literally, on their deathbeds?

There really is no justice when this guy can die peacefully and without punishment after harming children in their final days.:(

They'll probably dig up his bones and hang them from the Tower of London.

There is a very special place in Hell for people like that.

He died alone in a fairly basic appartment near Leeds.

    Kinda tells you something.....

If anything, this can only increase peoples voices to speak out if it happens again. People were (and still are) terrified of celebrities and what would happen if they spoke out. Hopefully this will show people that speaking out at the time will prevent further happenings. All it takes is one person to speak out to start people wondering about somebody.

Yep, times like this I really hope I'm wrong and there is a heaven & hell and a nasty vengeful god.

The mind behind crimes like this is, thankfully, beyond my comprehension

I bet he wasn't being molested by a pervert on his deathbed no matter how basic his accommodation.

If conventional wisdom on reporting stats is anything to go by, his real total is many times more than that.

As if that wasn't enough. :(

i think you will find many did speak out, they were at best ignored, and at times even the cases were never alowed to go to court, why ?,i dont think its a coincidence that the police operation is called ;yewtree;.

I only read the second report after posting it. You are right. Its actually sickening that the authorities did nothing because he was famous.

Jesus, how many people must have know? There was no way this could have been kept hidden without help if it was so widespread.

    Yes he should.

Its a pity his victims (those who are still alive) could not find the courage to speak out sooner.

I see his "work" with children was recognised by that paedophile organisation, the catholic church.

    Knighted by the Pope

But he was a lot better than the Catholic church for keeping it under wraps though.

Its terrible, but not much worse than the clerical abuse that went on here for decades. A lot of kids reported that too, and were told 'sure Father X would'nt do that type of thing, he's a grand holy man".
And the police here weren't in a rush to take action either. It seems that giving someone a title like 'Father' or Sir' is a licence to get away with anything.

Is there really a need to rank how disgusting acts like this are?

Can you not discuss the issue at hand without bringing ALL other horrific acts into it?

Saville's abuses are a big enough subject without the need for wehere they fit in the global scheme of horror

He had the perfect disguise - he looked like a creepy paedophile.

Much as people would like to believe it, there is no such thing as hell. This is why it is important that people are punished for their crimes while they are alive

Jesus christ, reading that is depressing. What's more depressing is that there's likely quite a number of similar enough people "hiding in plain sight" as we speak.

Many worry about Artificial Intelligence. I worry far more about Organic Idiocy.
